Round up, so if you are suffering blast damage from a POW15 weapon, you half it to 7.5 and round up to 8.

Some instances call for a model’s stat or a die roll to be
divided in half. For distance measurements, use the actual
result after dividing the number in question. For everything
else, always round a fractional result to the next highest
whole number.

Thank you all for the replies and patience, i know some of these might seem silly but we're a new group with no experienced warmahordes players to teach us.

When rounding a ranged attack that blasts, say Skorne Incindrii, it is divide, then add the CRA?

That is correct.

So a two man CRA blast damage will be half-POW plus 2.

It depends on the exact wording of what you are working with. If the ability says add to POW then you add and then divide. If the ability says add to damage you divide and then add.

No, order of operations in WMH is very explicit on this, modifiers are always applied in the following order:

- Apply modifiers that double the stat;
- Apply modifiers that halve the stat;
- Apply bonuses that add to the stat;
- Apply penalties that reduce the stat;

Prime Mk2 pg 33.

You are correct in general but when it comes to AoEs and blast damage you have to read the specific rule. If there is an addition to the POW you add the modifier to the POW before dividing it to determine blast damage. If the modifier adds to the damage roll then you halve the POW and then add the modifier. The latter is due to the fact that you are actually adding the modifier to the die roll and not the POW of the attack.

I can't find that rule anywhere, could you provide a page number if you please?

Thank you very much I had no idea of that.

PS: Nvm, I hadn't realized that POW isn't considered an actual Stat so the order of operations that I quoted doesn't apply to it...
