Hi there! I've started Warmachine and Menoth few weeks ago and in that short time I've accumulated about 55 points of models. Soon I will have some spare cash that I plan to spend on making a coherent and preferably competitive 50 pts. Menoth list. Being a new player, I will need some help with that- what units are used at this point level, what the composition of the army should be, do I need a colossal, are tiers worth it..... general things like that. For now I plan on sticking with Kreoss and in the near future getting eFeora . I own the following models:

Warcasters:

Great Exemplar Kreoss

Warjacks:
Crusader
Repenter
Vanquisher
Reckoner
Redeemer

Troops:
Cinerators (it seems that I won't be using them )
Errants with UA
Choir

Solos:
2х Vassal of Menoth
Covenant of Menoth
Wracks
Eyriss, Mage Hunter
Rhupert Carvolo, Piper of Ord

I won't be playing 50 pts. soon, but i need to quell my nagging OCD about some form of completeness. Thanks in advance!

The Kreoss you have, is he the Epic or Prime Version of him? I want to make sure since it says 'Great' but I am not sure if you meant Grand or High Exemplar and this can play into helping with your list.

pKreoss is a great caster to go with, and it looks like you have a very solid foundation of models to build a list from.

Based on the models that you have available, I'd recommend picking up a full unit of Holy Zealots+monolith bearer, Tristan Durant and Juviah Rhoven+honour guard.

These models will give you this list:

High Exemplar Kreoss (+5)
Reckoner (8)
Vanquisher (8)
Initiate Tristan Durant (3)
Redeemer (6)
Vassal (2)
Wrack (1)
Eiryss, Mage Hunter (3)
Min Choir (2)
Max Errants + UA (10)
Max Zealots + UA (8)
Rhoven and bodyguard (4)

This is a fun list that is pretty well rounded. It has good scenario presence with the errants and zealots, you can get one of your jacks to hit stealth models with Rhoven, you have good anti-infantry and there is almost nothing worse for a caster than being knocked down by Kreoss' feat and then shot by pEiryss.
You can increase the anti-armour by switching Rhoven for Aiyana and Holt, or you could switch them out for Rhupert+Covenant if you wanted to really make your opponent hate you (errants with defenders ward, tough and no knockdown are serious business...)

Some people don't like running errants and zealots together, but I do like this list and have had some good success with it. Just be sure to keep Kreoss safe as getting him up the board is always risky due to his very poor defensive stats.

If you pick up eFeora then you would need to buy a few more models to make her really shine. She likes to have a good chunk of points spent on warjacks and typically takes one unit as a screen. I personally favour the Judicator as her bonded jack, but I have had a lot of fun bonding either a Redeemer (for raining fire on the enemy) or a Templar (it's like a baby Avatar) to her.

Thanks! This sounds like a solid and fun list indeed. Zealots with UA sound pretty good. Just one more question: do I need to get flameguards for eFeora?

eFeora doesn't need to have Flameguard in her list, she does make them Fearless which is always good.

What is good about having Flameguard with her is that they are a self-contained package and are a solid unit that doesn't need buffing to shine. Feora has no defensive spells at all, but the Flameguard are still good and if she casts ignite on them then they are a real offensive threat.

That said, I run full Zealots+UA with Feora2, mainly as they are a scenario powerhouse.
