So I'm working on building the Viktorias in addition to my Kirai crew. My issue is im having a hard time figuring out how to synch models. Obviously I want Blood, Ash, The Student of Battle, and Vanessa. Additionally I'm looking at getting a Freikorps Libbie, but I dont know what to do with the rest.
Im kicking around the idea of running Taelor and just a legion of Ronin, but i do like the flurry/rapid fire buffs. My dilemma is I have no clue which models they have access too for those abilities and whether its even worth running as opposed to the close combat mashup that i thought of earlier.
Advice?

n0t_u: No, but six can shoot out of it. Other than that it's a Rhino with a Heavy Flamer thrown on if I remember correctly.
Pretre: Thanks! I guess my pants are safe and clean after all.

Sorry, I'm pretty confused by your second paragraph- could you try to say that another way?

I think he's asking what models to add to a Viktorias list.
Vanessa, Hans, Killjoy (maybe overkill in this list), Hannah

Okay, time to rewrite lol. I guess I'm asking how most people run the Viktorias. I was reading through the upgrades and found one that makes it so you don't have to discard for flurry and rapid fire, and I was curious as to how easy it is for them to gain either of these abilities, or spam them in a crew. If its not worth taking, then what would I field in a close combat oriented crew? Ronin seem weak(ish) as far as cc powerhouses go. Should I put everything in the front? Or should I take some of Von-Shills mercs to give me ranged support?

A lot depends on what strategies and schemes are in the pool, and your personal playstyle.
For some strategies and schemes you are going to want to have some cheap scheme runners, to go with a core of killier models. In others less so.

I personally think that Void Wretches can't be beat as cheap objective runners, though you'll probably need to proxy them for now.

Void Wretches look like happy little fleas. I'm glad I got some.

Yep, they're obnoxiously mobile and hard to take out when they're up against another objective runner. I can't remember the last time I played outcasts without one.
I'll probably get a second set once the non-LE kit comes out

Depends on playstyle.
I run a similar list to what's in the starter box, with the addition of Vanessa.
Putting that crew forward, with maybe an additional model I've found works well. Sometimes I like to take Hans (give them a little cover), Or a desperate merc to distract/engage models till the viks get there.

Killjoy works really well in Viktoria crews. The chance that you're going to lose somebody in a clustered melee is pretty high and having Killjoy pop up right after can be really helpful.
Vanessa's great too for her blasts and her healing but she's tricky. She works best on the centerline but it also makes her vulnerable because she has to be in a very specific location to work with certainty. Even with her ability to look at the top 3 cards and rearrange them, I've found myself not having the right tomes cards for healing before.
