It's the basic starter set at £22.39, which is 20% off.
Apparently.

Nice. Hopefully this will extend to Ireland as I work at Argos and get a nice discount.

Nice. I've been considering picking up a 3rd starter set for a while so I can field a Tie Swarm. At this price it would be rude not to.
*EDIT* Just tried to buy it and its not available for either store collection or home delivery. Anyone had any joy buying it?

In the back of my mind, i always thought Argos would pick up x-wing. Hopefully they will get some expansions soon.

I have just opted in for getting a back in stock message. Even if I don't get three for 2 I can pick a couple up from store and save a few bob.

I am having great trouble having ordered this.
It turns out some bizarre mess up happened on their end, now they have £45 of my cash, no starter sets and no real idea when I'll get anything. Crappy 'compensation' offer has precipitated a complaint to Trading Standards for a breach in distance selling regs (raising new invoice order without customer knowledge, not informing customer of stock or order issues).
Anybody else have issues?

I saw them when they came back into stock, but they had been moved off the 3 for 2 offer so I did not buy.
I had a feeling that a lot of people were all buying within the same time window (especially for the original set of stock) which would probably result in people placing orders for stock which no longer existed.
Surprised that you have been messed around though - I would have thought it would be easy for them to sort out given they were restocked.

It's now back up to £23, considering there are plenty of on-line game stockists selling the core set for £24-25 and have it in stock now it hardly seems worth waiting for Argos to stop messing you around for sake of a couple of quid.

They are not restocking it. Existing orders will be cancelled apparently.
Not surprising, really (although I kicked up a hell of a stink) - given that quantities coming in to the UK are allocated out VERY quickly. Doubtful that supply could match demand, especially at the stupidly cheap price they offered.
After a couple of annoying phone calls I have agreed to a full refund and the difference between what I paid plus what (at cheapest retail) it'd cost to get the product in my mitts.
Now at least I can get my stuff for Christmas.
