About to play my first apoc game in 2 weeks from now. I was shooting for a game that would allow me to field my entire army, but alas it's hard to find opponents with 10k points at their disposal. All I know about my oppositions force is that it is Orks. I would like some feedback on the list if possible. As I said, I have 10,000 points of Space Wolves in my arsenal, so it wouldn't be hard to change up the list. Was on debate to drop the apoc formation for use of points in other areas, such as more TWC or fenrisian wolves.

If you're facing Orks, I'd get more Initiative weapons on the TWC and some more anti-infantry like HB on the Long Fangs.

I figured all the ml dropping frag plates would be for the anti troop spam.

Do you think instead of pf and th i should be equiping them with dual wolf claws?

I think you'd only need one Fist or Hammer per squad and the rest could be shield/claws. That's what I'd do anyway.

ML are nice but orks can be spaced well, and HB will eliminate the close threats on the front lines. Each ML and HB has its ups and downs, but I agree with HB in this point. Make it a gun line choke point army \

the TWC will be a big target and you have them kitted right for that, use it and know they prolly gonna get krumped. I don't think you need all those fists though and that is a lot of points to build up. Drop the flakk rockets and take the ADL with the quad or las cannon and you have cover, AA as well as a good AI and Anti light armor to field while not costing you huge points.

It forms a line you can sit behind and let the green skins attempt to run you over while you mow them down with bolter fire and lols

After reading more on the ADL i was unaware that you could space them out by 2s, instead of it being a whole chain link fence. Then with the quad gun id feel safe with dropping the flakk. Im still not sold on heavy bolters though..i almost feel like ml plates with the option to fire krak is better than the 3 shots youll get. How do you feel about vindicators? I have 2 that I've never even ran lol. I feel like the large pie plates and str 10 ap2 would be great for any wagons and blobs he may have.

Vindicators are fun but that's because their plate is huge so it's going to hit a lot as long as it doesn't scatter like crazy.

If your opponent is smart, he's going to space out his Orks. That means that the small template you're going to use on his Orks might be lucky to hit three if it doesn't scatter and only hit one or two. I'd rather have the guarantee of hitting three every turn. I might have one squad be all ML and Las for anti-vehicle but that's up to you and what you think your opponent might try against you.

You obviously dont know my dice..

Thanks for the tips. I may try and drop ml for hb and an adl, and drop razorbacks for vindicators. Big plate sounds fun!
