What, in broad terms, is truly not available for X-Wing?

Millennium Falcon
Slave 1
???
???

I thought I could just go on the FF online store, but of the 29 items listed there only 2 are actually available, the rest are not yet released or out of stock.

I know the situation isn't quite that dire.

Nothing is out of print, they just have a backlog and can't keep up with demand.

Quite a few items are hard to find right now, though. The easiest thing to do is hit up your favorite online stores to see what they have available. I don' t have a good local game store (or even a local game store; closest one is an hour away), but if you do, check with them as well. I've found "rare" ships this way in the past.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

Looking at the FFG list of stuff coming up, several of those harder to find items seem to be slotted for reprints in Q1 2015. I think the Falcon and Slave 1 were in there, and a couple of others I had noticed being tough to get. Of course, chances are, they'll be liable to fly off the shelves and return to obscurity in no time.

In know there's no shortage of HWK's at every store I go to, lol.

Although i am a big fan of the local Barnes and Noble, As far as I know they carry everything but the Falcon. I just bought two Ywings and an Xwing, which lots of the stores I buy form online do not have at the moment.

It doesn't hurt to check Barnes and Noble or Target as well.

I haven't had luck with target locally, but I did pick up several smaller ships at a semi-local Barnes and Noble just today, no falcons or slave1's but x-wing/tie fighter and a couple of others.

As far as I know Target stopped stocking X-Wing earlier in the year, and cleared out all of their stock. Barnes and Noble is probably the best bet for finding stuff right now depending on your area, because they don't seem to be shopped at as much. When it was first getting tough to find Falcons the one closest to my house still had a few, and most of the other local ones still had at least one on the shelf.

Target cleared out stock asfter last Xmas. I got about 10 starter sets for $10 each at my local, rural store.

I hate you, but it is only jealousy talking.

No sign of any reprints yet.

Yeah I've kind of noticed that too. Maybe they'll drop at the same time as the first run of the scum and villainy stuff? If that were the case it would be more into February I think.

I walked into a Barnes and Noble today and they had a Millennium Falcon, Slave 1, Tie Interceptor and an A-Wing. Last week they had none of those, so I guess the reprints are starting to hit the shelves.

Every thing is being reprinted. Fantasy Flight has an Upcoming section where they list the progress of products still in print. All x-wing items are either available, on the boat, or at the printers.

http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_upcoming.asp

So nothing is out of print for x-wing. currently.

The best bet is that reprints of all the ships, plus scum, plus wave 1 for Imperial Assault are all stuck in the west coast ports right now. Both Australia and Europe have the Scum ships in stock and waiting official release.

Barnes and Noble is the place to go, either in store or online.

I got a Falcon their last week, as well as an X wing, Tie Fighter, B wing, and Y wing. The Falcon wasn't on the shelf, but I used their "pick up in store" feature on their website to have it waiting for me at the checkout, same day. So I don't think they put everything out, some of the good stuff is still in the back room.

Every B&N I've checked at has had at least a little x-wing stock in the back, they usually only have one 4' section of shelving devoted to it, on an endcap most often.
