Hey mate.

First, thanks for your service.

Second, you're sort of in an odd spot in Groton (a lot of us feel the same way living in Connecticut)

A quick check of the store finder on GW's website reveals a couple of stores in the neighborhood that should at least carry something:

However, like a lot of us tabletop gamers in CT, you may find your best community is 45 minutes to an hour away. For example, I live in Norwalk, but I play Warmahordes with the great folks at Gamer's Gambit, in Danbury, CT, and I occasionally drive up to Flagship Comics and Games in Southington, CT to play with a couple of friends of mine.

Speaking to 40k specifically, I know The Battle Standard in Manchester, CT has some players. I also know that GW recently opened one of their hobby centers in West Hartford,.

Anyway, if you have reliable transportation, I know there's a few community's within an hours drive that would love to have another player.

If transportation is more of a problem, then Lee's Toy and Hobby and the Toy Vault are closer by. Maybe one of them has an amazing community, but I have no idea.

Good luck, and let us know how its going for you.

I really appreciate all the info man. I apologize for taking so long to respond, but I'm definitely going to hit up those places in the near future! Also random question, do you think adding an imperial knight errant to a 1750 point deathwing list would be worth it?

Hey, sorry for a bit of a late reply, but if you're looking for gaming more than a little bit closer to you there is Sarge's Comics in New London on State Street.

I know a lot of folks there have been playing Warmachine lately, but it is a much shorter drive and might well be worth popping over there on Wednesday evening or Saturday (the miniature gaming nights) to check it out.

Hey guys. I am also in CT, Meriden to be exact. I just started to pick up models again after a 8 year break due to last gaming group just drifting off into their own directions. So I am brand new and still rebuilding my collection but I am also interested in meeting up with people and learning the game again.

I play warmachine at flagship in Southington and would love to start playing 40k in the near future.
