I like librarians.
I like terminator armor.
I don't like the look of bare heads in terminator armor, with wires and tubes all over the place.

Does anyone have any advice regarding making a psychic hood for a terminator? I'm trying to make my own using a spare terminator who suffers from the same condition of armlessness that Abaddon does, and varoius GK parts including the helmet, but the lack of a psychic hood bugs me.

I imagine using greenstuff or plasticard might work, but I'm fairly bad at sculpting/modeling so I don't really know where to start.

Just swap a head for a helmet that fits into an MPP librarian

I think it would look slightly weird, but hey, you can test first with photoshop

That was my initial idea but I was considering throwing a storm shield on the librarian too. Besides, paying $30 for a model that I still need to scrape BA icons off of when I have this armless terminator sitting around seemed...inefficient and less fun.

Start with a curved shoulderpad, such as a Space Marine one, and carefully cut/file until you have the psychic hood shape. Simples.

That's how I made several Librarians in PA and TDA in the past. If a Marine pad is too big, try one from another range.

Silly sir, that may work on PA but that'll never work on terminator armor!
*Takes a shoulder pad and test fits it on terminator torso, and sees that it's a perfect fit*
Would you like me to name my firstborn after you if I ever have children?

It is surprising that it works. I did it work my old rune priest conversion right after the plastic SM termies came out. Just takes a small amount of cutting & filling.

Grey Knight Terminator bits go a long way to making regular SM Librarians.

Only issue is, the torsos don't resemble Indomitus Pattern armor enough.

Use the space wolf rune priest, it's the equivalent of a librarian.

Honestly?

Get a box of Grey Knight Terminators. It's a great way to make five Librarians in Terminator armor!

I used a grey knight termie for my term librarian and loved it. The armor is ornate and special enough that I think it fits well.
