My local group is running a mini friendly tournament for beginners, so hey what better way to learn? I'm starting with 15pts:

Kommander Sorscha
- Juggernaut
- Destroyer

Widowmakers - Leader & 3 Grunts


All standard stuff. This will be built on (and no replacements allowed at any stage) in 5 point increments, each week.

So, I'm here asking for suggestions as to what to add for 20, 25 and 30 points?

At some point I'd like to get the WG deathstar in there but I'm thinking that's not likely 'till 30 (meaning I need to fill the 15-20 gap)

The WGDS is at least ten points (WG = 6, Ua = 2, Kovnik Joe=2) So you could squeeze it in at 25pts, and Sorscha does love WG models to put nasty spells on.

With Lady S, I'd consider adding a Winter Guard Mortar Team, they hit like a tonne of bricks and Sorcha's feat means that they might actually hit something. And your ability to win is going to be based on you use your feat. Sorscha isn't an incredible caster, but dropping bombs from a long distance is going to put the hurt on anything, so consider using the Destroyer's bombard in conjunction with a mortar team.
