So I'm doing a Military Order sectorial for my PanO and that means picking one of the knightly orders as the primary, as well as one or two of the others as a secondary. I'm wondering which ones do people prefer? What would you consider the strengths and/or weaknesses of the orders to be?

At the moment, locally, there's a huge wrestling up the midfield with ODD, TO, repeaters, camouflaged CC units and other madness.

I find Knight of Holy Sepulchre to be a nice balance of a lieutenant option, CC, shooting and protection from getting shot or hacked. They are a bit pricey and not "true" CC specialist. However they do get stealth through MA skill and aren't frenzy. Turns out this is rather rare for many infinity knights .

I find other orders just a bit too tailored for straightforward shooting. With greater importance of specialists in ITS and local flow of the game, I find it difficult to use knights or other HI in my lists. Father Knight's profile in nice and you get to pick a specialist option.

De Fersen is a rather spiffy lieutenant as well IMO.

Good shooter and hacking works just as effectively through a remote repeater, keeping him nice and safe - and even if he's not a lieutenant you'll keep folks wondering (this is something that from what I've seen MO players can have trouble doing, with limited options on the field).

Spitfire Santiago lieutanant is a very interesting choice with his SWC cost reduced to 1 and his E/M granades and the opposing players usually forget about his 360° visor.

I also love the Hospitaller knight, very nice statistics, martial arts L2 and can be equipped with HMG (with BS 14 can be really dangerous) or Medikit.

As said before, Father knights are good and you may consider they as well tanked specialist.

I'm not sure about the Sepulchre knights, they are expensive and i found it a little bit hard to handle.

So far I've used;

Joan 1.0, always my Lt.
Father Knight, almost always as a Hacker.
Hospitaller Knight, always as a Doctor.
Five man Magister Knight link.

Father Knight is definitely my MVP. Such a durable Specialist able to lay down a lot of smack. His only big downside is lack of Martial Arts/Stealth leaving him vulnerable to Repeaters and ARO hacks, though his High BTS does help there.

Want to get more Hospitallers and Father to try a Link Team there. Santiagos and Sepulchers I can see uses for both. The ones I don't really see value in are Tuetonics myself.

I like using one Teuntonic quite a bit, I find he has 3 good uses:
- good shot with CR + panzerfaust (BS14 panzerfaust is scary)
- a monster when it comes to CC deadliness. Berserk + EXP is very scary
- Avatar hunter

Joan is also a very strong piece.

What about adding a 5 models Order Sergeants fireteam with a spitfire on the leader?

I often play lists like this:

Military Orders
──────────────────────────────────────────────────

Group 1 6 0 0
KNIGHT OF SANTIAGO Lieutenant Spitfire, E/M Grenades / Pistol, AP CCW. (1 | 45)
KNIGHT OF SANTIAGO Combi Rifle, E/M Grenades / Pistol, DA CCW. (40)
KNIGHT HOSPITALLER HMG / Pistol, AP CCW. (2 | 41)
TEUTONIC KNIGHT Combi Rifle, Panzerfaust / Pistol, AP CCW. (34)
TRAUMA-DOC Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (14)
SPEC. SERGEANT (CH: TO Camouflage, Infiltration) MULTI Sniper Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 33)

Group 2 6 0 0
ORDER SERGEANT Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (13)
ORDER SERGEANT Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (13)
ORDER SERGEANT Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (13)
ORDER SERGEANT Spitfire / Pistol, Knife. (1 | 19)
SPEC. SERGEANT Hacker (Hacking Device) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 21)
ORDER SERGEANT Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (13)

6 SWC | 299 Points

Open with Army 5

It suffers the presence of few, and very soft specialists, but you can claim a huge firepower, and the TO sniper can give the other player a hard time.

About the Teutonic, he has a good stats and combi+panzerfaust and I usually play it as a fireteam's life insurance at relatively slow cost. The opposing player often prefer to split the fire to avoid a panzerfaust's missile in the face augmenting you ARO efficience.

Heck yeah I love Order Sergeants. Have run several Link Teams with them.

Sergeant's link teams are just overpriced Fusiliers, that's not the strenght of the Sergeants to me, the TO FO ones are
If the Hacker + MSV2 Spitfire were linkable, maybe ... but as it stands ? Nope, they're a bad link team

In a MO sectorial army you can only take up to 3 fusiliers so you cannot make a 5 model fireteam.
No, spec. Sergeants are not linkable.

You can make a 5-man fusilier link team, but that requires Bipandra (and a Spec-ops)
MO benefits a lot from Joan's inspiring leadership, it cancels the Religious quirk and it gives order efficiency without having to use a Link team
The only Links I find decent in MO are:
- Fusilier, spec ops, bipandra
- Magister

Maybe 3-man knight teams ? Never tried those yet
