I'm playing in my local Warmachine journeyman league and need help with upgrading my battlegroup to 25pts. Does this list work at 25pts?

Warcaster:

Warwitch Deneghra

Warjacks:

Slayer 6pts
2xDeathripper 8pts
Defiler 5pts

Units:

10 Satyxis raiders 8pts
Satyxis raider sea witch 2pts

Total:24pts

Its not a bad list, although generally Cryx doesn't want heavy jacks. They're too squishy.

I would drop the Slayer and Defiler for a full unit of mechanithralls with 2 brute thralls, a Necrosurgeon, and a Helldiver.

mechnithralls are just so stinking good. Especially when you have the Necrosurgeon bringing them back, or turning your opponents dead into Thralls too.

The Helldiver is a cool assassination piece. It spends the game burrowing, till it can pop up and slam/headbutt the enemy warcaster so Denny can spell them to death.

Yeah I know that slayer/defiler isn't amazing but I'm pretty sure that my local league requires battlebox contents for 3rd week, not much of a choice there. I also thought about adding bane riders for 11pts instead of raiders. Do they work well without tartarus?

Don't forget, we have a lot of one point options for that last point. 2x soul trappers, Machine Wraith (my pick), 3x scrap Thralls, or a Necrotech and Scrap thrall.

Bane riders don't need tartersauce because they have their own ability to curse. Regular banes need tartersauce's curse.

Thanks for the help, decided to go with raiders+sea witch, will probably upgrade to 35 via buying bane knights, mostly because my budget is kinda gak now.

I'd get rid of the Defiler and Slayer. Two arc nodes are find.
Spend the rest on infantry. As said Bane Knights are great or Bane Thralls with UA if you go more defensely.

Yeah I know that defiler/slayer are unnecessary, but my budget doesn't really allow me to replace them atm. So I'll probably have to either go with more raiders or bane riders to get to 35.
