Am I missing something about the new Hackblade Slaughterpriest?

Unless, it's because both weapons could get a +1 attack buff? No, because it still ends up wounding less often and max number of wounds is the same.

Cool model nonetheless.

It isn't quite as good as the axe variant but the difference is small.
