Here's the thing - I love IG tanks and hellhounds but cant stand the lowly imperial grunt. I have a CHaos army that could use some plussing up - Id like to hear some ideas on how I can take my IG tank collection and turn it into something useful for my Chaos army. The hellounds are the new forgewrld ones.

4 Leman Russ main battle tanks
1 Demolisher
1 Basilisk

8 Chimera
3 Hellhounds

Make them traitor guards for a Apoc game.

The thing is I dont want to use the IG footslogger just their tanks

Im thinking I can use the Leman Russ - if I add the predator weapon systems - as a Predator

Use the Chimera for Rhinos

Not sure what to do with the hellhounds

collect space wolf and you can use the russes.

Simple solution.

Traitor Imperial Armoured Company. You do not need foot sloggers. In an Apoc Game or a friendly game [run two seperate lists] you can run them with the chaos marines...

Simple as so, no foot sloggers needed.

Show lots of demonic/chaotic damage/mutations/repairs and I think they'd be fine 'counts as' Chaos marine vehicles. Fluffwise, they're loyalist vehicles captured/stolen then modified almost beyonf recognition by evil Techmarines.

To avoid upsetting opponents, do what you can to make the resulting vehicles as close as possible in size to the standard models they're counting as.
