Money for sure at the moment. If I had more work, I'd have more money, but then I'd have less time for the hobby.

Combination of time and lack of money. This leads to lack of interest.

Cash, for now.
Normally I would tend to buy whatever I needed whenever I had money, but as I plan on starting a new army, I've been hoarding my greens like Khorne hoards his skulls.

For me it'd be lack of painting skill. I get frustrated really easily and also impressed very easily. It drives me bonkers that my attempts at painting look pretty bad so I'm loathe to try again for a couple of weeks until I get the nerve to start again. That'd be the main thing affecting me I'd say.

Truth. My track bike hasn't seen the race track once this year and my street bike has only been out a handful of times, only once in the twisties.
Of course rainy days make for great 40K days so I've been doing more of that this year. Now if only I didn't have to work.

It's complicated - lack of interest/people for actual gaming. But for painting (which I am interested in) it's lack of skill and to a lesser extent money.

Two of my main opponents just moved to London. It's not like they're a million miles away, but my IG buddy is in the army, so he's not back too often either.
My only other opponent plays Eldar so (for some reason) he's not keen fighting my army -which is also Eldar.
My plan is to build an IG army to ply him with, but money and space are real issues. Especially money; what with rent etc. going up and me taking a paycut at work, it's a bit of a drawback.
That said, I've got tons to paint but I just haven't been motivated lately.

I would wargame more but I am held back by a few factors, the biggest being a lack of any other interested people, the closest game store is a 2 hour drive into Johburg and I can't take that much traffic. The second factor being,it is close to the end of the year, most people of very busy and don't have time to game.

My hold back is time, what with girlfriend/work/friends and then cleaning of appartment and that, I have only been to my FLGS once in 3 months. This week I have only painted 4 marines to tabletop standard!

Time, time, time... Where has my time gone?
First were the studies, then was the work and in between the social life, mixed with some years working in foreign countries and now the new (and hope for a long time) house.
So I started the hobby 10 years ago, left apart for a while, then came again, off again and I'm in the third strike which I hope will last forever.
All combined with friends that don't like the hobby and tempting me to other vices. At least my girlfriend thinks that minis are nice...

I'm currently unemployed, so money is the big issue for me. Finding work at the moment is really difficult, and is proving problematic. I do have money coming in, but I can't afford to blow it all on 40k, unfortunately.

I voted other , becouse there are miltiable things
4hours of school a day( along with1-2hours of homework) , i dont exaclty have all the money i need for more minis etc. , lack of shops and there is a lack of people(on my location that is , there are loads compared to how few live in this country)
So almost all options i guess

I am about 30 mins away from a good hobby store where I can play and enjoy the people that hang out there. So, it is location. If there was one about 5-10 mins away, I would be there every night after work (wife allowing of course)...

Time is the biggest issue for me.... or lack of it.
Money's not a huge deal, but my parents limit my 40k spending.
And lack of people. all three lead to a lack of interest
