I've been painting off and on for the last 7-9 years (Can't remember exactly when I started). Just started painting again after purchasing this:
And I have been working on this:
This is still WIP and I shall put up some of my earlier work as well.
Edit: The last project I was working on before my latest hiatus. Its still not quite finished.

The colours on the libby are lovely and bold, and by using different complimentary colours he will definitely stand out on the battlefield. For a pre-gaming-veteran, that is awesome! I'm also loving the base on the libby, great job!

Nice work! Love the freehand on the rhino, the only thing about it is that the border around the edge is not completely straight and makes it look a little off the actual detail is perfect

Gathering back models long lost, painting again, and starting some Deathwatch Overkill models! Keep eyes up and hope to show progress soon!

First 5 Deathwatch mostly finished. Also played my first game of deathwatch tonight.

Sorry for the not great photos. Only have my iPhone with me!

As is tradition, I've been out of painting for a year or two and got the bug back. Plus being at home 24/7 and having the supplies helps.
This is an old Rhino of mine that I did, but brushing up on some special Templar characters and kit bashes! Pro Tip: Grey Knight kits have wonderful supplies for those looking for something beyond the templar upgrade sprue realm of things to make crusading knights. Will upload some of my more recent forays and also an update of my current army.
Yes, I'm aware that I did not thin my paints as well in the past

@IGTR: They are truly a fantastic mini that really rep the Templar aesthetic well!
Hobby UPDATE:
Got out the airbrush and after cleaning it up (gunked to hell since I didn't clean it well enough last time ) I applied cheat code:
Smooth WHITE
Heres some WIP of my Drop Pod, Razorback (trying to paint over our brother chapter's yellow), and of course the Land Raider Crusader!
Automatically Appended Next Post: Here's some WIP shots of Helbrecht (I believe I enjoy painting ground troops more than transports and tanks)
His sword broke off a while ago, Grabbed a big ass sword from grey knights kit (not sure which) and then promptly dropped him and broke that off too.... so it will be glued on him... soon.
Anyways.... heres Wonderwall

@ Honingtomaten: Thanks for the feedback! I love the accent red with my black templars. I feel like it gives them a bit more character.
A little something different today: Tried to implement some NMM/Blending/Layering technique. Take a look and please let me know what you think!

Thats actually a GW kit. Killteam Cassius under deathwatch. It came from the Deathwatch Overkill boardgames. Highly recommend the kit. All of them are super cool!
EDIT: Further progress on my first NMM attempt.

Put some nuanced highlights on the LRC with some Eschin Grey.

Started helping a buddy get into the hobby the other day, hence no updates! We built him a Chaos Leader and myself a chaos leader for the Slaanesh vs. Tzeetch war band battle. (This is where the heresy part of my blog comes in)
Buttttt..... Finally started painting up my Dark Imperium stuff. Trying to decide if I want to make them smaller squads of Imperial Fists and Crimson Fists lead by my Black Templar Gravis leader.
Here's the leader with some paint thrown on! NMM is nice, and I definitely have tons of work to do, but its much easier to throw the metallics on there!

Hey hey! As answered earlier up the thread, those Deathwatch are from Killteam Cassius. Its a Deathwatch box set of all custom characters.
I guess you could buy a bunch of Drenn Redblades. I also believe Space Wolves may have some mohawked individuals.
