Hello folks!

We started out as a bitz reseller, started making our own bitz, then it all got out of hand.

Updates will be found further down the thread

Oh dear!

I'll hit it with a mallet momentarily. Oddly enough it doesn't do that when I view the site whilst logged in. I'll have a dig through and see what's causing it.

In the meantime you can browse using the "everything" category.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention though, much obliged!

Well, for a start are you going to keep it mono-race? If so I'd suggest adding Mantic Orcs, goblins (when they are released next year) and other companies like EM4 to your inventory

I collect:

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

To start with the focus is on greenskins. In time we may well expand into more races, depending what people want.

That said, Mantic Orcs and Goblins are well within that remit and if that's what you guys think we should be stocking we'll do our best to make it happen. Thanks for the suggestion

Aside from the aforementioned glitch, I'm impressed with the presentation of the website overall.

I'd echo that you may want to expand to other races sooner rather than later. Orks seem like an odd choice to start with, being that the big seller is Space Marines.

Ben: I've always been a greenskin player at heart. I enjoy converting stuff a lot and so I thought I'd go with that. I know what I'm doing with Orks/Orcs far more than with mariney boyz.

In time I may well accomodate marines though, perhaps starting with the AoBR set, if that appeals to anyone?

Anna: Besides, grots are the most awesomest (I don't care if it's not a word!) creatures ever!

I'd suggest looking up Maxmini's ork heads as well as the stuff you already have

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Things have been going slowly but positively for us and now we're trying to figure out how best to reinvest what we've made so far.

We want to be stocking everything - Mantic, MaxMini, Kromlech, etc. but we can't really afford to do that just yet. We're trying to reinvest wisely so we can reinvest again sooner rather than later. To do that though we're going to need your input.
It boils down to three options at the moment:

Option 1
Start stocking Kromlech products. We would not be selling them as bitz but rather as kits.

We’d be able to ship stuff from the UK rather than Poland making postage cheaper and significantly faster for you. Our prices would also be in Pounds Sterling as you probably guessed and so you wouldn’t need to deal with exchange rates and all that jazz.

In terms of what we’d be stocking, that’d be up to you guys, but we've got some suggestions. We can’t afford to stock their whole range to begin with, although in time we would be.

Option 2
Extend our bitz range to include MaxMini Pirate Orc heads and their Feral Orc heads as well as stocking the GW Lootas & Burnas kit.
(This option would probably carry the most risk for us.)

Option 3
Something else entirely. You tell us.

Prevailing opinion in the office at the moment is to stock some Kromlech stuff but if you feel we'd be making a mistake in doing that, tell us

Why not go with Option 1 with a small amount of Option 2?

It may now be possible - we just got a couple of orders that should mean we can stock both some MaxMini bitz and the Kromlech stuff.

I'm thinking MaxMini pirate heads and their fancy new pirate goblin heads. How's that sound?

Nice site!

I'll be starting a mantic orc army soon, so will be looking around for the odd few GW bits of choice to add to it, so having a well-stocked bitz site would be great. My main problem I have with bitz sites is that they are constantly out of stock of everything and don't bother to restock for months at a time so I can never buy the part I want when I want. Your focus on greenskins should allow you to keep on top of things rather than having it out of control trying to track tens of thousands of different bits.

With stock management in mind, you might want to think about grouping some of the bitz... some things, like the heads, you'll want to sell seperately, but stuff like legs can probably be sold as groups. Bitz sites often don't think hard enough about how people will actually use their bitz and as a result take an OCD approach of listing every last little bit in it's own seperate category and then not being able to keep up with all the work involved.

So, with that in mind, I'd have to say that warhammer fantasy plastics would be the best next thing to add... maybe you could get battalion boxes and break them up to start with to give yourself an initial stock of parts.

Mantic orcs would definitely be worth adding, they have neat things on the sprues like the various plastic orclings.. getting the complete GW range sorted first would be the best thing to do though.

Quick update, folks!

We've just restocked most of the warbiker kit. We're considering restocking the missing parts of the trukk kit too but it depends on you guys. Would you rather we stock MaxMini pirate bitz or replenish the trukk kit?

In other news we've just paid for our first order from Kromlech. We're going to be distributing their kits in the UK. The initial order isn't massive as we've got limited funds but with any luck we'll soon be able to sell their whole range.

Thank you so much for this site! I just started Orks and this is an invaluable resource.

If you ever start stocking loota/burna kits I'd be over the moon, but just having access to a dedicated purveyor or boyz is fantastic (with a couple of bitz you can make 13 minis from each box...)

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

Kromlech stuff is now in stock!

We've done our best to get a variety of Orc stuff from Kromlech although that does mean that we don't have that much in stock. We're also saving up our pennies to buy either MaxMini pirate stuff or another GW kit soon.

There's some cool stuff around the corner that we're getting rather excited about too but more on that soon.

@A Kvlt Ghost
Thanks for the praise! We'll do our best to make Lootas and Burnas a priority.

Hey everyone!
January's been going quite well for us on several fronts and so I'm pleased to announce that we'll soon be stocking components from the Lootas & Burnas and Stormboyz kits.

There's some big news coming soon too but I don't want to show anything until I've got something tangible. Vague suggestions are exciting, right?

Well, maybe not, but hopefully you'll understand in a week or two.

Good news, everyone!

Lootas and Burnas are now in stock.

I've also restocked the Ork Boyz kit, which is nice. Hopefully I can start processing the Stormboyz kit tomorrow.

Tomorrow might also be a fun day because Hive City Terrain may get their first stock to me.

New stuff!
Today begins the collaboration between Hive City Terrain and Fox Box. What’s Hive City Terrain?

Well I’ll let Jim tell you himself:
Hive City Terrain was started in 2011 originally to sell resin casts of terrain pieces that I used to create a large board for a heavy urban environment. I created pieces to fit the theme I had in mind and also created pieces that filled a gap in the UK wargames terrain market.
After selling a few sets to friends and having positive feedback the next logical step was to start a small scale business.
Currently I am working with Ben of Fox Box to produce his excellent sculpts.
At the moment Hive City Terrain is predominantly 28mm scale but has pieces in the pipeline for 6mm wargames. Once HCT has made enough money the website will go online with lots of terrain pieces to fulfil a wide range of gaming needs.
-Jim
We’re stocking their stuff and they’re going to be helping us make our own product range a reality.
We’re starting off with his set of sandbags, of which you’ll get 3 for £6. Not too shabby, eh?

Jim's got something new for you, following up from the first set of sandbags - Hive City Terrain Large Sandbag Position:

It's three parts that slot together, spaced to fit three 60mm bases making it ideal for heavy weapons teams. As for the price, £4 for the complete emplacement.

Stormboyz are now available on the store.

We also now sell Gretchin but they're mostly out of stock. Hopefully there'll be more later in the week. Coming up next: Ork Battlewagon bitz.
Requests for after that?

I'm thinking GW Fantasy stuff, although perhaps you'd prefer the Deff Dread or Killa Kans?

Something new from Hive City Terrain - Columns:

We're doing sets of two for £4.

Meanwhile I've been working away at my sculpting and our own range is back on track. Hopefully there'll shortly be some pretty things to show you.

The Ork Battlewagon kit is now available.

The new Ork Bommer is also in the works as well as some other fun goodies.

We’ve been hinting at it for a while now but at long last we’re pleased to announce the launch of our own product line.

They’re biker torsos modelled on the Spores of Anarchy Ork bikers you may have seen on The Waaagh or DakkaDakka (although these are more detailed than the ones they’re based on). There’s five different designs and they should fit with most normal scale Orcs and Orks.

As you can see it’s only one modest offering for the moment but there’s many more products in the pipeline. We’re also open to suggestions if there’s anything in particular you’d like to see.

Hopefully it won’t be long before we can announce the next things, although I'll be posting work in progress shots on Twitter and our Facebook. I'll post them here too if there's enough interest, I'm just concerned about being too spammy

Could we see them painted, please? It's difficult to see the level of detail on the unpainted resin.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Photographing white resin is a huge pain too!
Anyway we should have some painted up shortly. In the meantime I can show you a photo of the greens:

A few things are going to be going to be cast tomorrow. First off there's a set of 5 Orc aviator torsos:

Then there's some heads:

Lastly there's a pistol that's going to be part of another few sculpts, although if you guys want them we can probably make them available separately as well:

Hi there I'm sure i mentioned this a while back when i first came across your site but I'll bring it up anyway. Have you thought about adding the Finecast or ForgeWorld Ork stuff as there seems to be very few places that do them outside of eBay (that's not often either)? I say this because i myself am currently still looking for parts from both ranges but have had no luck. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there that wants these and it would give you something that other similar online stores don't have.

Jay

I've definitely considered it, Originalj4y and I plan on stocking Forgeworld and Finecast stuff in the future. It's on the cards!

Which things would you be looking for specifically? It's hard to know what to prioritise.

My personally at the moment am after parts from the FW Nob Bikers set and Finecast Ghazghkull Thraka. Very few places seem to do parts from those packs and until they do i've hit a wall.

I also think the FW kommando conversion pack is popular after looking around.

Hope that helps.

Jay.
