Hey all,

Edit: since I started this blog, my motivation for painting these guys has changed totally. If you look at the latest posts, you'll see that I am busy painting up a Qapu Khalqi force, which is actually of a very respectable size these days. I don't play Infinity as much as I'd like, but I hope to get more games in soonish.

In brief: I’m painting Haqqislam guys up to be Necromunda gangers. I’ll post progress on here, along with maybe the occasional shot of my 40k stuff. Opinions and feedback on colour schemes are welcome, as I’m weak at colour theory.

So I heard rumour of a possible Necromunda campaign starting at my local club (Glasgow University Gaming Society, for those taking notes), and this is obviously of interest to me, since I am a fine upstanding roleplayer in good order and all. But I don’t own any models for that, and it is unlikely that Ork shoota boyz will make good proxies. I would buy official Necromunda models, but they are as a sin upon the eyes. Thus I found myself looking at the Infinity website, scouting out suitable ‘sci fi guys with guns’ models to use. I was surprised by how lovely they looked, and got to reading the background, which I liked a lot. Five hours and a trip to the shops later, I had a blister of Ghulam Infantry, which I had discerned to be basic infantry for the Haqqislam faction. The plan is to paint up a bunch of Haqqislam guys, blisters for whom can be bought a lot more affordably on my student budget than can expansions for my Ultramarines, and then use them for a Delaque gang if a Necromunda league starts. I’ll also aim to build them up into a reasonable Haqqislam squad, in the off-chance that I meet someone else who plays it.

I’ve decided to post my progress on here, as this is always going to be more of an investigation into painting than into playing. I’ve got an Ork army and an Ultramarines army, and the smurfs get a higher level of effort applied to them since they are a side-army (and they don’t have friggin’ hundreds of guys). The scheme that I’m thinking of is a deep red for the main armour, dark browns for the fabrics, and pure white for any pieces of cloth that are fluttering in the wind or whatnot. I’m using GW colours; I tried Vallejo but didn’t like them.

Without much ado, onto the initial opening and preparation. Here is the blister opened, with the metal models lined up (and a tactical giving size comparison).

Here is the same models after the flash was removed, and they were glued down and spraypainted. As per usual, the spraypaint failed to get onto all of the model, but I’ll do a Red Gore/Chaos Black mix to be a proper basecoat, I think.

Just a quick update to show the base coats. I'm pleased with the red, it has a nice deep quality to it, which another coat should bring out. I used 1:1 scab red and chaos black, followed by a coat of scab red on the raised areas. The next coat will be scab red and red gore 1:1. The grey areas are going to be highlighted up to white.

The brown areas will next be inked and then highlighted with bestial brown, possibly. I'm a little torn between keeping them dark brown, or heading towards a more leathery colour with bubonic brown. Speaking of brown, I am probably going to paint the sand on the base in my usual bestial/bubonic/bleached pattern, arriving at the same colour as on the smurf in the first post. But maybe I should go either for desert (these being Haqqislam, after all) or for a urban rubble colours (since that seems to be the accepted basing method for Infinity).

So the models are now approaching completion, and I'm down to doing the little details. I'm quite pleased with the way that the bases look, since it is my first attempt at urban bases. I consider that the brown and red parts of the uniform are done; I now intend to concentrate upon the flesh, hair and little pack things at the waist. These last will be painted in a black leather fashion, as will the boots, but unfortunately I don't own the other colours that I need for this. Hopefully I can pick them up soon. The metal areas were given a wash of Asurmen Blue, to try and give it that high-tech vibe that only blue can provide.

Are these photos more viewable than the rest? I tried putting the models directly under a light and inside a white box this time.

So finally the Ghulams (Ghula? I don't know Arabic plurals) are finished. I hope that the camera settings are better now - I took the photos inside a cardboard box, set on an angle next to my hob light, and I used the macro and delay settings.

I'm quite pleased with how these came out - they don't look as bright as my 40k stuff, which fits into my perception of this group as belonging to a more realistic and gritty vibe. I realised after finishing how odd it is that they have no green anywhere on them, but I wanted to keep the colour palate quite limited. Speaking of colours:

Dark red for armour.
Muddy brown for cloth.
Black leather on holsters, boots and belt satchels.
Blue-washed chainmail for the guns and other metal items.
Bright blue gem effect on all technological circles (ie, in the headset, on the wrist piece, on the girl's chest gem).
Bright white for any cloth.
An attempt at middle-eastern skin colours and black hair.
Urban ruin base, with a black trim as per my usual habit.

I've got blisters of Al Fassed (with boarding shotgun), Saladin and Djanbazan Sniper coming in the mail (if ever the shop sends them, that is) and I'm intending on following this scheme with them. When they arrive, part two of the Infinity painting spree will begin. Saladin, in particular, promises to be a difficult piece - the hair and skin were the hardest part of these models, and his face is completely dominant on that sculpt.

They're looking good! I like how you went with a red color scheme. The faces look pretty good, knowing how ridiculously tiny they are, I think you did well. You painted the weapons and bodies with a lot of dark contrast areas, so it makes sense that the faces fit that scheme as well.

I'm looking forward to see how you paint your next group of models, Infinity sculpts can be a challenge, but incredibly rewarding when you get them all done.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I like the default green scheme, but I play Orks and couldn't bear the idea of having yet another green army. Plus, dark red is a colour that I like a lot - that understated sense of menace really appeals. The scheme looks painfully dark next to my Ultramarines, but when the squad is together as a group, they do give the impression of being a crowd of professional soldiers. I like that.

I’ve been struggling through essay season for a while, hence the lack of updates, but now the good ship HMS Charles has cleared the storm, so the all-important nerd work can finally continue. I had some real problems with this assembly: the joints being so thin, I struggled to glue them, and my pinning kit is insufficient to the task. In the end, I had to buy epoxy in order to assemble the Ahl Fassed, as the silly girl’s arms wouldn’t take any other way.

I’ve started painting them the same way as the Ghilmen, and have managed to get all of the base colours marked out. I’ve decided to use white on the face of the Djanbazan and the Fassed, since there isn’t any cloth on those two models, and it’ll help make the faces stand out. Saladin, meanwhile, gets white both on the inside of his cloak and on the raised tracery on the back of the cloak. This should be visually arresting, nestled among all the reds and browns.

The bases I gave the usual sand, but I took the chance to experiment with greenstuffing on patterns – so that the Djanbazan is lurking next to a rooftop parapet thing and the Ahl Fassed is standing in front of a diamond pattern. The attempt went awry on Saladin’s base though, and my attempts to do a cobbles pattern turned into something that looks like over-chopped cheese. Nevermind; I’m going to wait and see how it looks after I finish the model.

Looking sharp. I think a little bit of extra light might help with your photos, as I'm sure they aren't that dark.

So far so good, I like the red and the white. The darker color does offer some more menace, which is cool. But I feel it also invokes some other stuff, like the white crescent on a red background of the Turkish flag. Or the colors of the Red Cross... (or crescent, in the case of the Middle East version). So it's almost like a tie in to Haqqislam and it's market of Silk.

Not that that matters to you, since you're using them as a Necromunda gang.

Or I'm just seeing things that aren't there. My brain tends to wander.

Keep up the good work Charles, glad you cleared the essays!

I didn't realise that about the Turkish flag, which is a good call - especially since I can possibly theme them as being from that section of Bourak. I've actually found some guys who play Infinity, so these are more likely to become an Infinity squad (army? warband? team?) than a Necromunda gang. The six models that you see form a 150 point list, with the female Ghulam being proxied for a Naffatun and the Fassed being proxied to have a HMG. I've not worried too much about the fluff so far, since I don't own the books, but at some point I'll borrow them and devour the Haqqislam sections. Though I was thinking idly about painting names on the bases, so that they get that extra dash of character. The problem is that it could look more childish than characterful, if it looks like it does on my Orks.

Hey all,

The final three models of my 150 point list now stand completed, and I am quite satisfied with them. Sadly the camera made the pictures quite blue – I made them ‘warmer’ in the program, so hopefully it looks ok.

I tried Saladin’s hair with the same colours that I attempted on the Ghulam models, but it didn’t work very well. The greys are just too bright, I think. This time I used a blue wash to calm it down, and it actually looks not bad. The reds, which I was thinking of giving additional highlights to brighten up, I left the same colours as on the Ghulam. Beyond the benefits of uniformity, I decided that I’m just not yet good enough to do edge highlighting on such small details. At least it makes a change from the dayglow-colours of my other armies.

The most striking feature of the Saladin model is undoubtedly the tracery on his cloak. This was painted white in the same way as the other two had their faces painted, and should hopefully serve to catch the eye. Unfortunately this may just serve to paint an even bigger target on his head, so I may need to invest in a spitfire odalisque to keep him safe...

Yeah, I think you did a pretty good job on your tracings on the cloak.

I do think an Odalisque would be a most fitting bodyguard to a man of his stature... >.<

Thanks!

I think that there must be something about Necromunda which appeals to the Scottish psyche. Perhaps because if we painted them green and blue we'd have Old Firm the boardgame. But, of course, the official models are total garbage, so it is best to look elsewhere.

I'm quite excited to have Infinity as a second game - I love 40k, but it does a very different thing from Infinity, and the variety would be cool.

Hey all,
In an act of the most vile threadomancy I’ve got some actual progress to report, much to the marvel and amazement of all. In the seven months since I completed my first six models, I finally managed to join a local gaming group that plays Infinity regularly, and have actually done really well in my games, including a battle report that you can see here. So now the time comes to expand my force, and following the suggestion of Chemical Cutthroat I’ve moved straight into the Turkish theme suggested by the red and white colours. This means that I’m now collecting Qapu Khalqi, which I only know how to pronounce thanks to a Beasts of War video.

Enough talk, let’s look at some models! I’ve gotten myself another six models – a Spitfire Odalisque, a Spitfire Hafza, and a Druze Shock team - which form a decent 9-orders 200pt army in combination with some of my existing models. I’m dead excited about these models, and hope that I can do them justice. I’ve grown a bit unhappy with the basing scheme on my existing models, but I’m going to try using flock and tall tufts of grass to add colour to the ruin basings, so I’m sticking with it for the moment. As part of that, I greenstuffed a small sandbag wall for the LGL Druze – Marcus Fenix would be proud.

At the same time that I was assembling these, I was re-assembling some second hand Meganobz, and I was quite amused by the size difference between the two. Seems like this would be a fairly epic matchup:

In time for a game, versus some nasty Morat Aggression Forces types, I managed to get these three models finished. I’m really pleased with them, and was especially happy in the game when the Odalisque scored two VPs and then killed 2 Morats out of a 3-strong link team all on the first turn. Live fast, die on turn one. I’m looking forward to getting the other two Druze finished, since they integrate into my forces just enough to look part of the team, but their white helmets make them stand out. I’m quite tempted by Scarface and Cordelia, since I could paint up the TAG to have the same colours as the Druze, which would be nice (big daddy and his little Druze buddies want to play!).

Sabiha is the name of one of the adopted daughters of Ataturk, founder of Turkey. He had several, apparently, so it is my intention to mine them for names; especially since I gave the name of Ataturk to my Saladin model, for whenever I play generic Haqq. Sabiha apparently became the world’s first female combat pilot, very fittingly. Walid and Nassib are Arabic names, which differentiates them from the Turkish names on my other models; I’m told that Walid means ‘father’, which is very suiting for a model that I regard as the sergeant of the squad, while Nassib means ‘destiny’, also somewhat appropriate for a hacker model.

I discovered during painting that the blonde hair that I was giving the Odalisque merged somewhat into her little cape thing. But I kinda liked the effect, and so I left it. I imagine the Odalisques as this totally free-form and anarchic group within the QK forces, who obey orders but ensure that they look good while doing so. The type of combatant who jumps out of the helicopter without orders simply because they saw a chance to do so in style. And as their statline indicates, they get away with it because they are just that good.

Hey all,

Wow, I've not updated this blog in a long time. Part of the reason for that is the fact that my club's Paradiso campaign collapsed, and the ending of it was a bit unpleasant, meaning that I didn't want to associate with those players so much. Thus I dived back into the GW fold.

But when a friend asked me about the Icestorm box, I got all nostalgic and dug out my Infinity models from the cupboard. The paint scheme on these guys had been bugging me around the time that I stopped playing, and I always meant to go back and re-do them. However I didn't want to paintstrip them, because I would rather do anything than re-assemble them. I hate assembling Infinity models. I was painting these models in my bright flat, and giving them really dull and muted colours, which meant that when I took them to the club they basically became invisible. This made me sadface. So now I am going back, and testing a new bright red colour on top. My High Elves have a very bright red colour as their distinguishing feature, and I decided to simply use the same paints on top of my Haqqislam models' red coat. Let's see how it went.

This is our control image. As you can see, the reds are nice and deep. However, the cloth on these models is primarily a muddy brown, which provides absolutely no contrast to the brown at all. I don't want to lighten the cloth up, as that would just attract attention to the wrong parts of the model. So the red must change.

So here is the new red. It is so bright (top layer of Wild Rider Red) that it is close to being pink.

Here you can see that I've left the dark red colour visible on a lot of the plates, giving good depth to the red. However, it means that there is still a darkness to the overall look of the model. On my next test model, I decided to change that, and so the entirety of the red plating was repainted much brighter and then highlighted, in effect removing almost all trace of the original dark red except from the recesses.

This final image shows you the new colour (on the left) and the old colour (on the right). Hopefully you'll agree that the left model is much more distinctive, and the brown/red divide is much more useful.

As an aside, the Najjarun on the right displays my biggest annoyances with my models, which is that the top of the head has lost the paint on a surprisingly large number of them. I am unsure whether this is because I carry and store them on a magnetic tray, and so they are not very shock-absorbed, or whether Infinity is simply a game that involves them lying on their backs a lot. Man, I wish that CB worked in plastic.

These look great, not sure how I missed your blog before.

The red works really well, not something I have seen commonly for Haqqislam but it works very well!

Definitely agree that the lighter red works better in contrasting with the brown. Think the white works well also to help break up the colour.

Looking forward to seeing more!

Thanks! Well, this blog was from before Infinity even had its own board here on Dakka, so maybe you just never came across it then?

There are some incredible colour schemes out there for Haqqislam, especially the green and white ones, but I quite like my own red-hued take on them. I just like red, what can I say? However, I think that I never quite got the colours right my first time around. I am much better at painting and colour theory now though, so hopefully I can do justice. There are four remotes and three Odalisques for this army totally unpainted, so plenty to do. Currently I'm applying the base colours to the Haris-leader for the Odalisques (aka 'shouty rifle lady'); my painting scheme was written under the old GW paints, and before I had access to some of the newer colours, so I want to see how it looks when I start from the ground up with the new ones.

Big improvement Charles. As you know, I’m a fan of muted, dull colours in general, but that red really works very well. It doesn’t just provide contrast with the brown cloth, but also faces and the guns, and gear and different bits and pieces. Really helps to define the details.

Also, it just makes them nicer game pieces. I quite often forget that this is what these things are. Sometimes it’s nice to be able to see instantly “that’s the red team”. It’ll look really good on the table. We should totally get a Mars/total recall style board by the way.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Like the little bit of flock on the bases too. Obviously red and green always work well together. Flock is a nice way to do it here. Rather than implementing greens on the figures themselves. You always risk a "christmas army" effect doing that.

Thanks for the kind words Alan. We should get a game sometime soon, see if my Haqq can kill your Haqq!

Hey all,

So I was really keen to test out the new colour scheme ab initio, and dug out one of the other Odalisque models. This is the Haris fireteam leader, which you can tell from her shouty expression, and so is kind of unexciting (with no really nifty gun) but also exciting (cool rules).

I spent some time trying to paint rouge on her face, but it kind of just made her look like a clown. I painted giant red dots, obviously. A quick google search showed that rouge is generally used more on the cheekbones and towards the ears than actually on the area near the mouth. Since her haircut covers up the part of her face that rouge would look good on, I decided to remove it and instead try that on a different lady. So this particular Odalisque will just have to be makeup-free. We can call her Lady Stern.

The brown cloth has been made brighter on this model than on the others. Nothing too extravagant, just the application of some Skrag Brown to provide highlights.

I'm not all that happy with the skirt. There is just a lot going on there, and not only did I get confused and really struggle to work out what was where, I also found my orange colour not applying well over the black basecoat. It looks acceptable, especially when I added those white portions (which help tie this side of the model together with the front, which has the white lining of the skirt), but no more really.

Another thing that I did was abandon the blue washes used on the other models, which were giving the metals that blue tinge. I wanted to see what happened if I just used nuln oil instead. The most noticable result is that the silver is much brighter than on my other models; in return the model doesn't have the blue effect. Worth it, I think, especially since silver is a form of blue anyway.

Thanks for reading, and hopefully I'll have another model to show soon! I've got a game next Tuesday I think, and might need to do some frantic painting if I want to have a fully-painted force. Those Kameel remotes have been giving me sad looks for over a year now...

@Red Harvest: I like red a lot. It somehow finds its way into all of my armies - even my (sadly sold) Ultramarines had red trim! I think that it really works on these guys, since the Haqqislam models have a fairly slim and lithe appearance that suits a racer red paintjob. The Ahl Fassed is a bit of a weird model - I didn't even realise that it was a girl until it arrived - but she often sees action as a proxied Al Hawwa or other boarding shotgun profile. It isn't like my opponents know what a Ahl Fassed is anyway

Hey all,

My army shall be making its triumphant return to the tabletop after more than a year MIA this evening, and I have been frantically painting as a result. Bumper update incoming!

First up we have the Odalisques. I painted the third one, who carries the SMG and is probably my favourite sculpt from the box.

Unfortunately I think that I went overboard on the highlighting on the midriff, so I might go back with a quick wash to control that. I used a variation on the colours that my High Elves get, but in the future I might use darker skin tones. Some variety is always good.

The cape, as on the last model, was a bit of a chore. I used bright yellow instead of the orange, which I didn’t think worked all that well.

Dakkadakka!

I also did a repaint on my Spitfire Odalisque, who hits the table in virtually every game that I play. As always, the reds and the browns were raised up one or two tones – you can compare it to the first paintjob by scrolling up – and I made sure to include her lipstick in the highlighted areas. Obviously.

I was always quite pleased with how the dagger came out on this model, even if she has kind of a weird pose with it. Definitely the oddest stance of all the Odalisque models.

I would be remiss to not show you the Haris team in action. The names, by the way, I took from Ataturk’s family. This helps with the Turkish connection, but also makes for an amusing link between them and the Saladin model which is called Ataturk in my collection. Though that makes the Odalisques his daughters, rather concerningly.

Showing the variation on hair and skirt colours.

I also repainted possibly my all-time favourite Infinity model, the Hafza with Spitfire. This guy often acts as my Lt, thanks to not costing any more SWC for that profile over the basic Spitfire, and almost always escorts the Druze into action. Somebody has to watch over them!

Anyway, I just love the detail on his chest armour. Such a great sculpt, with wonderful depth.

The ladies are rumoured to become irregular when they see dat ass.

Next up are my Remotes. These are really strange models, which I suspect CB may resculpt at some point, but I like them. This here is the Guided Missile Launcher, which will likely be pressed into action to take down the O-Yoroi my opponent plans to bring. My last game of Infinity, all those months ago, saw this guy detonate an Aleph TAG before my opponent had his first turn. My opponent naturally was very pleased by this turn of events…

I opted for a very simple colour scheme on these models, allowing the detail to speak for itself. Though they don’t have any cloth, I decided to sneak some brown onto the antennae anyway just to add some variety.

And now the Total Reaction HMG option. He can also act as the Forward Observer option, for when his botmate takes the field. This model is quite fun, as it has enough gizmos to attract the eye.

Coming soon to a murderbot showroom near you!

As is my wont, I gave these guys Turkish names. I dug through an online dictionary to find appropriate words. On the left, the Total Reaction bot is named ‘Guard’, while the Guided Missile Launcher is named ‘Catapult’. Those are not ‘i’s in his name, incidentally, but actually another letter that seems to sound like a ‘u’.

While we are speaking of bots, it is worth mentioning my desire to paint these blighters soon. The Kameel remotes undoubtedly have better sculpts than their chicken-legged kin, but their profiles are less useful – a Total Reaction Rifle is a lot less exciting than a Total Reaction HMG! The models actually have wee canopy bits, which I am unsure of how to paint to match my army. Probably blue, as that is the minimal spot colour, used on all the gems and whatnot.

The army for tonight all lined up. I often run two combat groups, primarily because the models that I bought tend to cost about 20ish points, meaning that it is really hard for me to hit that golden 10 models/300 points line. Hopefully soon I can buy an Iguana and rectify that situation. But in the meantime, each combat group has a link team, meaning that my order situation is not as bad as it might be.

Thanks for reading this monster post, and hopefully I’ll be able to show you a repainted Druze killsquad sometime soon! Keep painting

Hey all,

A quick update to show the repainted Ahl Fassed, Nenehatun by name, a model that I regard more fondly than perhaps the sculpt deserves. This model is actually of a ladyFassed, which I didn’t even realise until I had the blister in my hands, so huge and prominent is her Boarding Shotgun in the website photograph.

Like many female Heavy Infantry in this game, she has impossibly thin ankles and waist. In many cases you get the impression that the fully-armoured female versions of the Heavy Infantry would actually fit inside the armour of the male versions. We can’t test this hypothesis here though, since Corvus Belli have yet to bring out another version of this model to my knowledge, despite it having three profiles.

I suspect that the Ahl Fassed will fit into a future sectorial, and will receive a boxed set at that point, since that has become the Corvus Belli modus operandi. Since I play Qapu Khalqi, I don’t get to use her as an Ahl Fassed, so she tends to see play as a Mobile Brigada, or even an Al Hawwa Forward Observer, anything with a Boarding Shotgun profile to use.

Speaking of ladies with shotguns, I finally got around to assembling two Odalisque models that had been lying around in a box for over a year. These ladies gave me the most incredible challenge to assemble, defying all attempts to glue them together using ultra-strong epoxy and whatnot. However, a few quick modifications (clipping the neck pin off of one model, bending the Shotgun elbow) and some normal superglue saw them go together nice and easily. I’d be more annoyed if I wasn’t so relieved that I finally got them finished! I just hope that their arms don’t fall off during transit!

I might be tempted to run these as a link team of 5 in a game soon, just to see how that works. It would probably be delightfully murderous at short ranges.

Until next time.

The Odas are a challenge to assemble. Murderous at short range they are. And with the coming changes to the Boarding Shotgun ranges (+6 in the 0-8 range), even more so soon.

After a long break from painting my Haqqislam, while I waited for the new edition to drop, I have taken up my paintbrush once more. I began by repainting a few more models into the new red colours, for a small 150pt game to test out the new edition.

Two Ghulams and two Druze stepped up to the plate. Since this was before the profiles hit, I used my Druze as Zhayeden instead. Nice profile, that one.

One thing that I've always liked about the Ghulam models is that they look quite distinct, making it easy to say, "The guy with the white headscarf is a doctor", or whatever.

I might need to revisit their brown, though. It is perhaps too dark now.

I have never really understood why one of the Druze holds a sword. Doesn't he realise how terrible he is in melee?

I had been a little worried about these guys - they might have looked daft in the new red - but they still look menacing. I've still got two to repaint, and at the moment the ones in the original colours look incredibly dull next to these guys. At least I'm getting the desired effect, eh?

One thing that occurs to me is that repainting their eyes blue might not be a terrible idea. Just to make them stand out a bit more. Thoughts?

Much more excitingly, however, I picked up a new model. None of the stores near me carry a decent range of Infinity, but happily I can use Arcane Miniatures to order single blisters with free shipping. When you just want to spend £7 and get a new model, they can't be beaten.

The new Janissary HMG strides forth! I've not had a chance to use him in game, but I'm really excited to do so. In large part because he will help solve one of my habitual problems - running out of models before I run out of points. Too often have I managed to get 14 models in a 300 point list, and had a really awkward order pool as a result. No more! For Mr 41 points here will do marvelously at hoovering up all the available resources - especially when paired with my Ahl Fassed model, proxying for a Boarding Shotgun Janissary profile. Exciting times.

I'm not too happy with his holster - the brown highlights went a bit weird on him - but it is a very minor part of the model. This guy is really dominated by that expanse of red.

The hard part of painting him was deciding what parts of the model to make silver, and what parts to keep red. I opted for a fairly restrained selection of silver. He has almost no brown, however - just a bit at his waist, thighs and knees. The tendons in his legs - which I painted silver on the Ahl Fassed - I chose to make brown in order to break up the monotony of red.

And here is the whole gang. I'm pretty pleased with how they look, and am eager to move onto my next models: Kameel remotes and Odalisques, both of which have been undercoated and based.

Until next time!

A couple more additions to the force, as I sat and painted up the last of my Odalisque models. Here they are, moving through a Garden of Morr.

Sadly my camera isn't really up to taking close-in photographs of Infinity models, but hopefully you can see the detail.

The girl on the left is holding a Contender, which should come with a great long barrel. Well, that great long barrel fell right off when I was assembling the model, and I couldn't face trying to glue it back on, so I simply filed down the end of the gun and gave it a sawn-off-smg look. Fine.

I tried to give the girl on the right an interesting hair scheme, with the purple highlights, but I'm not sure that it came out that well. It add variation, at least.

And here is the complete squad. I've never run them all at once, though QK can do so as a Link Team; I might try to do that, next time I play!

Thanks for reading!
