i'm new to Ogres after a year with the VC.. but now on to the task at hand i have a tourney next month and only have limited models ( due to money atm) so heres a list i can make :

So Thoughts? any mistakes i may have made?

I don't know if Beasts is really the way to go on your SM. There are a lot of self buffs in it and he is your main caster. Yeah, he can punch faces, but most of your dmg (by a lot) will come from the rest of your units. Buffing them is far more important. Besides, Bloodgruel lore attribute is way better than...anything in Beasts if you're trying to buff him and keep him going.

Giant isn't terrible. Though using the points on just about anything else would probably be better unless you have a specific use (or the model already). Maneaters or Mournfangs are both great substitutes.

I think heavens on a level 4 will suit ogres better than most of the other options available to them.

It makes things hit them on 4s with the sig.

Harmonic Convergence gives them Pseudo rerolls.

Wind Blast can just mess with people, and can be used in conjunction with a firebelly, providing he rolls flame cage.

Curse of the midnight wind will help them in combat.

Urannons is a strongish missile that is better against flying models, as is chain lightning.

Comet works well in combination with the speed of the army. You want to be in combat quickly, and dropping a comet behind enemy lines on turn 1 will force them to come to you even quicker than they normally would.

Other than that, only risk I see is the Giant, due to cannons.

Fair point, i think i'll run the lvl4 as heavens and the lvl 1 as Great maw.

i think i might swap a group of ogre bulls and rhe giant for Mournfangs..

Mournfangs really are the unit you want to include. They are just.... nasty.
And maybe another cannon.

money units for ogres tend to be horde sized units of ironguts, and then units of mournfangs and ironblasters.

i've seen very competitive lists build with little more than these units. I love the gnoblars though, awesome that you've included them.
