Okay, I havent played 40k in 6months.
Part of why this army is the way it is, is these are the models I have built, and I kind of know what to do with them. If you want to radically change my list, please indicate some general tactics so I know what to do with the models.

1850, no restrictions 3games total, mostly friendly

LoC lvl3, 2 greater gifts
DP Tz lvl2 armor, wings
DP Tz lvl2 armor, wings (probably go for Bio since telepathy isless forgiving when I roll bad)
18 Pink Horrors blasted std
18 Pink Horrors blasted std
Herald Tz lvl2 Conjuration, Grimnoire (should I give this to the LoC or a DP instead for range problems?)
Herald Tz lvl2 Conjuration, Portaglyph (make PB or Daemonetttes or more Horrors to claim objectives)
15 Seekers std, champ with AP2 sword +1 strength
Herald Slanesh Steed, Beguilement AP2 sword

I have 55 points left
I have 2 converted Defilers that are way cool, but I didn't know how to fit in
I have tons of Bloodletters (6 built)
12 skullcrushers
could make another deamon prince.
I have IG stuff and Chaos (less built models) but don't want to pack to many crazy rules so I don't forget everything I've crammed in my head.

If you have helpful advice, please post -- thanks

I would add exalted rewards to the princes. Depending on what you rolled for powers, the rewards can help. And riftbringer is like another portal, just better.

Aside from that, I would try a game with Fateweaver if you haven't yet. Rerolling the warp storm table and a single D6 each turn can help a lot.

Hey thanks for replying. The only reason Im not trying fateweaver is I want to try to remember all the rules as well. Most of the Tz stuff has the same rules, so hopefully I won't forget important stuff like rolling onn the warp table or that T can rerll "1" saves.

riftbringer does look good, as well as the super sword artefact (+D3 str and attacks)

Do you know if those stack? It has +1 str as its normal modifier and then you roll another D3 for additional str and attacks? Will I always be +2 str at least?

I believe the +D3 is just WS, Int, and Attacks. This does stack with Warp Speed and Iron Arm though. Just don't charge anything in cover.

It is a lot of stuff to remember. I made a rolling chart for all Psychic Powers and Gifts. It made pregame rolling a lot faster. Then having Warp Storm table open is a good idea too.

As far as who gets the grimiore. You've got some options. I would suggest hitting something about to charge with it. Seekers would be good with it.

I played with Fateweaver, and his flickering flame was doing a lot. Depending on what army you're facing, I would consider taking that on the LoC and DP. Having three or four units focusing their fire on one unit can be devistating.

I personally would give all 3 of your FMC a lesser gift, so that they can have Staff of Change (+2 S, Concussive annnddd, you can make enemy Characters turn into spawn... all for 10 points each!)

I always keep Grimoire on my Herald of Tzeentch, I find when it's on one of the big nasties that one just gets focused on until it dies. The range I also wouldn't worry about since it is 24"

I also agree with EricBasser get something to reference for all the rolling that needs to be done and bring paper to write it all down on something, it gets crazy with the amount of things you have to remember

What I do respectfully disagree with is taking Exalted Gifts for the rolls. I've been finding Exalted gifts should be used only for taking items from the Hellforged Artefacts. If you wanna make your Monsters beefier take the cheaper rolls on the Greater gifts, in some cases they are just as good or better than the Exalted Gifts. But YMMV

I'd also take out 2 Pink horrors from the 2 squads so then you can give 1 greater gift to each of the Daemon Princes and the Herald of Slaanesh. I know at that point you only need to lose 1 pink horror to reduce their fire power but if they are shooting at your horrors they are not shooting at your big nasties and I'd consider that a plus

But besides that your list looks pretty solid and the amount of psykers you have is terrifying

I believe you're mixing the two swappable gifts. The staff is units within d6 take d6 hits at Str 5, friend or for and wielder. The Mutating Warpblade is what can turn characters into spawns.

Could always put Lash of Despair on the Slaanesh Herald. While not the best Str, another unit dishing out 2D6 shots could be the theme of the list.

Forgot to say, I made a printable chart in Excel for powers and rewards. It's a easy guide to what can do what.

Thank you guys for giving me more to think about. I would really like to get the Riftbringer in there, but it is so random, there's no guarantee to roll a 2.

I may try something like this just to give the DP's a better chance at surviving. I've done some practice rolls just to see what types of gifts and spellls I might roll. Sometimes I roll really great combos, but a lot of time I'm getting the #6 spells or something I can't really use like double chaos armor on the princes.

125 Herald of Tz lvl3 (probably flicker and 2 on Divination) Exalted gift (portaglyph)
125 Herald of Tz lvl3 (probably flicker and 2 on Divination) Exalted gift (Grimnoire)
158 17 Pink Horrors
158 17 Pink Horrors
215 15 Seekers Std, champ with greater gift (ap2 +1 str sword)
125 Seeker Heral of Slanesh greater and lesser gifts, Beguilement
295 LoChange lvl3 (1 Tz power, 2 Div) 2 greater gifts
325 DP TZ armor, wings lvl3 (1 Tz, 2 Biomancy) 1 greater gift
325 DP Tz armor wings, lvl3 (1 Tz, 2 Biomancy) 1 greater gift

So I should have 6-7 flickering fires, the only other power I might take is Bolt of Change (st8AP2 lance) ona DP or LoC to shoot tanks
I would love the staff of change, but I don't see anywhere to get the points and the DP are way expensive as it is.
I have 4 points leftover, I'm wondering if I should take Fateweaver over the LoC? His powers are more connfusing sort of and he's pretty vulnerable to shooting, but might make the warpstorm table more palatable and has that reroll which might save someone from miscasting.

Try it with both a couple of times. Both have their benefits. I'm a fan of Fateweaver. He comes with all the Change powers, and 4 more from different pools. His reroll on the warp storm is nice. And rerolling a single d6 each turn is icing on the cake. Each turn = player turn since it doesn't say fame turn.
