I received back my sample castings for bocage bases that I made up. All you have to do to complete them is add the foliage of your choice. There are two styles a solid piece and a section with a pass through. Add a basic gate to it and you have a complete set bocage. The solid sections are also drilled out to accept trees if you desire. I hope to have a painted version up here in the next few days.

Thanks. I built a full set of these a few months ago by hand and it was such a headache that I swore I wouldn't do it again. Then I started having my stuff cast in resin and I thought I would give it one more go. I enjoyed it quite a bit more only having to do two pieces instead of 40. Now I can pump these out for a whole table in no time. I should have some up for sale in a few weeks. If anyone is interested PM me so I know how many to have made.

Finally warmed up above freezing so that I could get outside and do some priming and get these painted.

Very cool idea. May end up purchasing some myself. Excellent paint work as well!

The completed set ready to hit the field. It just needs the second coat of foliage on the trees.

Two new pieces that went out for mold making yesterday. A T section and corner/angle section.

These have sold surprisingly well. I'm down to one last set from the first run that closes in a few hours. The second production run should arrive this week and half of those are already spoken for.

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Look very, very nice painted! Some of the best bocage I have seen, think the rocks work very well (an idea I may steal, if you don't mind! )

Very nice bocage, but for me personally it's got too much stone in it and not enough hedge

Anyways good luck and I hope you sell loads of it

I agree. I personally would rather them be more realistic. Just a mound of earth with hedges and trees growing out of the top, but I surveyed a bunch of people before I started working on this project and nearly everyone said they preferred the asthetics of the stone when it is painted up and on the table. LOL...who am I to argue with paying customers?

Perhaps it's the neatness of the well defined lines provided by the strategically placed stones that creates a perfect fend shuii for the average wargamer, who would not enjoy the unbalanced harmony of an un-trimmed hedge ?

A couple of new pieces to flesh out the bocage set. I have had a lot of people ask for these for the last few months. I am sorry they have not made it to this point sooner, but I finally had some free time to sit down and work on them today. A cross section or X section and a 45 degree section. Heading out for mold making this week.
