Like the title says, I am looking for advice on minis. I got to a point where I can build a 35 pt. list that is capable of using any of my 'casters with a few adjustments and don't know where to go from here other than ehayley, eiryss, and Stormblade UA

While I know that these don't come together to make the best thirty five point lists, I can use either ecaine or either version of stryker depending on which army I'm against, and they each have a unit in the list getting benefits from them, so at least now I can playaverage sized games with a relatively good list. I don't have any intentions of going to Steamroller events anytime soon, but I might pick up Jakes this weekend at my FLGS's Vengeance release event if she's like ten or twelve dollars. I'd also prefer not to drop $100 on a colossal right now. I also don't have money for Boomhowlers even though they are one of the best units currently available for front line fighting.

Okay some thoughts

Ol' Rowdy - Both versions of Stryker love him and so does eCaine as he doesn't have to give him focus as he Aggressive makes a good body guard with Counter Charge

Units
Stormblades & UA. Get the UA it makes them so much better as it gives them Assault.

Solo's
Journeyman Warcaster for access to Arcane Shield
Runewood considered an auto include with eStryker as he can give him pathfinder

eCaine likes both the squire and Rienholdt. Gives him effectively 2 extra shots. Very nice on feat turn.

You may want to consider a stormclad. It's a heavy hitter and can get a focus point from starting within 3" of the stormblades.

A general "problem" for Cygnar is that every caster has special needs for his army, there is no staple unit that always works like the Winter Guard Death Star or Iron Fangs.
The stuff you´ve got is very good for eCaine, eStryker wants more melee and most important he needs faction models for his feat.

What about mercs? I have aiyana and holt and epic eiryss now as well as Gorman and Reinholdt, thinking about getting Alexia and the risen as well as blythe and bull. My main opponent is circle and my stormblades just die to Lord of Feast in a single turn, anything that could help them outside of Corvolo?

True, but their are some units that will see action with most casters. ATGM + UA is one. Boomhowlers is another that is pretty common though some casters may want Murdoch with them. I like the blazers and B-13 as well and there are very few casters who don't play well with them. Nyss are also a popular choice, though again, may at times need Murdoch.

Almost all the casters love the Squire. JR is likely to see a good amount of action. Everyone should have at least one stormsmith for that one point filler. Gorman, Eiryss, rhupert, Aiyana and Holt are all good solos.

If you don't want to get a stormwall then I'd get a defender. Better yet get the plastic kit and magnetize it so you have access to all 3. Stormclad and rowdy are both excellent beatsticks.

So yeah, those are about as universal as you can get. Pretty much like all factions.

Thanks everyone. I'll look into getting a heavy jack and magnetizing it as well as the nyss hunters with murdoch. Seems like Nyss hunters would work really well with him since it lets them use stryker2's feat. I guess move them so they aren't quite in close combat and shoot the enemy, then feat to tear them up some more in melee.

Cygnar had lots of answers to the Lord of the feast. The most obvious is ATGM with UA. But even a mere stormcaller can put the hurt on him.

Basically if you have any shooting which ignores stealth it will give him fits. And that is pretty easy to get in Cygnar.

Double checked the Lord's stats once I got home. It is a bit tougher than I remember at 12/17 with stealth and 8 boxes. You are going to need more than a single stormcaller or gun mage.

The key with the LoF is to know it's threat range (normally 15", but watch for shenanigans like stones) and what it is capable of. And then use your anti-stealth shooting to take care of it. And Cygnar excels at anti-stealth shooting and killing solos.

Also know what it and the opponents army can do. For example spread out to minimize it's attacks. Don't let it shoot a low DEF heavy or model and then teleport right next to squishy models. Keep an eye on the shifting stones and things like that.

I had a conversation with someone who said it's "ridiculous that if i want to play Cygnar I have to have a Stormwall". I'm glad you can see past that.

My advice would be to build a generalist Cygnarmy, as their casters are just pure awesome (yes, even Constance and Darius).

From what you have, I would say proxy some other jacks. I was never pleased with the charger or lancer, and the Ironclad doesn't do much for eCaine. I never played eCaine, but the ATGM UA LOVES to marshall a Cyclone.

You can't possibly go wrong with Stormblades or Gun Mages. Together they embody so much of what Cygnar is all about.

I definitely plan on getting a Stormwall in the future, but as I'm 15 I have to wait for my birthday to get that kind of stuff and I'm afraid I'll mess up assembling that thing. I understand however that I don't need my own colossal as long as I bring stuff to counter colossals, which I have. I'm gonna see if I can get the card for Ol 'Rowdy on ebay or maybe PP's website because he seems to have a lot to give to stryker and caine but I don't want to spend 40-50 dollars on a 'jack that I basically have already. I've basically dropped the charger because it's too focus hungry, but once Jakes comes out to people other than kickstarter backers might run it with Jakes. I'm definitely looking into getting a cyclone but I might try to buy a magnetized heavy jack kit so I have a defender as well. I've also decided that I need some merc units and plan on purchasing Alexia and the Risen as well as Boomhowlers, contrary to my original plan. Boomhowlers simply bring too much to not own them and Alexia seems really good for 5 points. The Thrall warriors alone will help me counter that Lord of Feast that gives slightly overagressive hugs to my stormlades. I'm also gonna get murdoch for the boomhowlers so they get assault and can use stryker's feat.

Any suggestions on more resilient melee troops? I'm between forge guard and Boomhowlers but I'd need to take murdoch with them for estryker's feat

Boomie is more resilient. Forgies are more offensive. Boomhowlers are about as resilient as it gets for Cygnar.

I guess Boomhowlers since I already have some pretty heavy hitting infantry with stormblades. I just need the stormblades to not die.

You should get a avenger, the GM officers really loves that jack with snipe.

In a few weeks if I save my money I'll have 40 dollars. With luck I can find a stormclad and alexia w/ risen for about that much on ebay. I'll probably buy those and then use the risen as a meat shield for the stormblades and stormclad, but keep the rest of the risen back with Alexia to charge in before the stormblades and then sac the rest of them to let Alexia kill stuff, and then hopefully kill enough to get some of the Risen back. Any stormblades that die will actually benefit me with this method.

Although if someone knows where I can get Boomhowlers for about 40-45 dollars I might get those instead. The cheapest I can find them is 50.
