I apologizes in advance to the mods if this post shouldn't be here and instead in the "looking for a game thread," but I feel that keeping it posted here would prevent it from being drowned by warhammer ads and straight to the eyes of those who play FOW (who knows how many here check that thread...) but apologizes in advance, nonetheless...

Is there anyone in the San Diego area willing to play FOW every once in a while? Usually late-war, but eventually mid-war as well?

May be just me, but I've noticed a negative trend in the popularity of FOW at my local gaming store, we're becoming an endangered species, at least around here.

Not to threadjack but I'm in Sacramento and am having the same problem, no luck finding players. From my understanding FoW used to be big in San Diego at Game Empire before a bunch of guys from the group split off and opened their own store in Poway. At that point the group split and neither of the remnants was big enough to support a selection at an FLGS. I know that's not exactly what you're looking for but it might help explain what's going on in your neck of the woods!

Casual wargamer, casual painter, casual grad student. I can do formal though, I do own a tuxedo T-shirt.

Alas, if only there was a better way for FOW gamers to connect and play...

I do remember it being pretty popular at Game Empire a few years back, but I wasn't playing FOW at the time. Good luck finding some players up there and with casual grad school, just got accepted for this fall.
