Apparently Cyril on Archer is the member of a Warhammer guild. Thoughts? Also phrasing.

I thought their use of the world guild was a bit silly, because to me that just sounds like MMORPG stuff, unless that is a common US term for your warhammer clubs?

Makes me happy that Archer references the nerd world so much. Great show.

I liked the extended Star Wars reference as well. A good episode for some nerd chuckles, and happily much better than the middle episodes of the season.

I heard it but the way it was referenced I thought Warcraft and didn't even pick up he was talking about Warhammer. Surprised he didn't use Warmachine since I believe they play that game.

He does play Warmachine. He was even on the Chain Attack Podcast last July/August.

I've never heard of a Warhammer club called a guild in the US. I'm not saying one doesn't exist, but it's not a common term. We'd probably just say club or gaming group or something like that.

I think it would be hilarious if he converted another member of ISIS, especially if the mahogany table was converted for game play.

Considering Kreiger was using the Konami code to try to poison everyone with nerve gas, it is likely that Cyril is just in an extra nerdy warhammer group that calls itself a guild.
