Lots of tanks. Taurox hang out in the back and adjust to objectives as needed. Hellhounds hunt transports or foot sloggers. Russ tanks due their job and kill everything else

1. Vets can't take taurox primes.

2. Not sure about the hellhounds anymore. Eradicators are cheaper and more durable unless you happen to have them and don't want to buy new kits.

3. Why not spam more russes? Even if they are eradicators they still represent an AV14 crowd control nade lobber.

4. I think the second tank commander can't get preferred enemy if pask is taken as warlord meaning the other 2 vanquishers won't have it easy on the dice rolling.

5. IMO, exterminators will do much better than the vanquishers in the second HQ.

6. Very light on troops ( without many upgrades ) for a 2k game. Unless this is for fun, then by all means go ahead.

7. : P If you look a page or 2 back, I fit around 9 tanks in a 1500 game. All russes. Troops even had carapace : D

8. Need to play a game with new hydras to see how they fair, They lost interceptor I think and due to that makes them less viable/efficient than say the new wyverns.

didn't catch Taurox Prime....un well, frees up some points.

I see your point about Prask. Probably just put the vanquishers with him, but keep him in a Executioner (I like the large blast option he has)

My hellhounds are 1) I have 3 sitting around, 2) I love Chem Cannon. Ignore cover, AP3 and wounds anything on a 2+.

I'm not worried about the light troops because if they are wasting time shooting the transports then the squads inside, that just means my hellhounds are free to wreak their troops.

I'd have to play with the hydras. I'm not used to using any interceptor anyway. But come on, what not to like about 12 twin-linked skyfire shots?

1. About the light troops, true that if they are shooting that they are wasting a turn to shoot at more dangerous things but remember that they are your only scoring units ( I could be wrong on this, in which case ignore ) so if the enemy takes them out ( taurox with 10 flak armoured guardsmen don't need a lot of FP to take down TBH ) then you are pretty much left with nothing to capture objectives with and you have to table the guy ( nothing wrong with that but it's a lot harder to achieve than capturing objectives ).
