So placed my order on tuesday... order gets dispatched same day. I check the tracking number. Says April 23rd. DO some math... hey that's waaay more than 4 days as advertised ALL OVER THE GW WEBSITE!!!! Email customer service, get brushed off. Oh well you see down here in the corner AFTER YOU PAY it says 2-4 working days, so screw you buddy. Okay well then I guess my crap will arrive on friday... OH WAIT! EVERYONE ON EARTH IS A CHRISTIAN!!!!! So suck it byotch, wait till Saturday fo yo shizz! OH WHAT! GW is closed all easter weekend long? You can't even email them to cancel your order? Well I guess that will teach you to get your hopes up hey?

This is total BS! And people still wonder why same sex marriage is such an issue, well I'll tell you why! The whole damn world thinks it needs to cow tow to christianity! This religion is so ingrained into our society we even FORCE OTHERS TO RECOGNIZE THEIR HOLIDAYS!!! Gay Marriage doesn't stand a chance against a social institution so entrenched as christianity. You know and here I thought ordering directly through GW would be the best way to get a large order. I figured hey, what the heck give em a chance right? They are after all the mightiest of the mighty and the very best model makers in the world right, you think they'd be able to ship a goddamn package on time right? Hell no!

I'm sorry but this is utter BS. I don't have any problem with people having religion, I think that's great. What I hate is when said religion forces me to put my life on hold.

Beer works wonders. A week isn't terrible to wait for something to ship to you and the website does say "estimated". If you paid for the fast shipping, I would say that you should ask for a refund of the added expense but if you got the free shipping....well, you know what you get with free.

I don't follow it, but I agree with their long weekends anyways.

I feel this way about Sundays and mail delivery, but then I get over it.

Sometimes you benefit too which helps take the sting out of inconveniences like no mail delivery or closed shops. Like today, for example, I get to leave work two hours early to observe Good Friday. As an atheist this was wholly unexpected but great news because that means I get to attend a game of 40k two hours earlier than expected--which definitely makes for a very good Friday in my book!

I also like getting Christmas off. And if anyone brings in food related to some holiday I'll be on that too. I can't stand religion, but sometimes it has its perks (like free days off from work, funny hats and eating special foods).

I think you may need to switch to decaf, cut down on the sugar, step away from the keyboard and take a deep breath.

Definition working day: In Commerce: Any day (other than Sunday or legal holiday) on which legal business can be conducted. Whether Saturday is a working day or not depends on the custom or usage of the trade or jurisdiction.

So most work pauses on legal holidays, giving workers some hard earned regeneration time, whatever their religion or faiths.
Nothing wrong with that and still fulfilling the "2-4 working days" condition for GW orders. BTW in Germany, Easter Monday is also a legal holiday, so you are kind of lucky

I'd suggest some fresh air. Perhaps a nice walk, or a bike ride.

There's no real issue with having to wait a couple of days extra to receive your toy soldiers.

Frankly one is more astonished that one can apparently get to an age where one is old enough to be able to purchase items online but yet be unfamiliar with the concept of working day deliveries and/or holidays.
