Hello Everyone!!!!
I am currently formulating a 3000 point Warriors Of Chaos Army.

Please leave me some suggestions, as I'm not to clear yet about the special and rare units that will work with this build.

1 Daemon Prince + Mark Of Nurgle + Soul Feeder = 10 Points + Flaming Breath = 30 Points + + Glittering Scales = 25 Points
=330 Points
OR
Chaos Armour, Scaled Skin and Charmed Shield

I was going to make 3 magic levels on Daemon Prince but I don't know how. Is one level 35 Points? Yeah I need help with magic levels

Hero's

1 Festus Leechlord - To join unit of warriors
= 190 points

1 Exalted Hero + Mark of Nurgle + Battle Standard Bearer + Halberd + Scaled Skin + Hideous Visage + Dawnstone + The Other Trickster's Shard + Dragonhelm
= 226 Points
Add the exalted hero to the Festus Unit

1 Chaos sorcerer + Level 2 + Dispel Scroll
Total = 170 Points

Core

24 Warriors Of Chaos + Nurgle + Shields + halberds + full Command + Banner Of Swiftness
Total = 525 Points - Festus Leechlord and Exalted Hero as BSB in this unit

40 Chaos Marauders + Mark Of Khorne + Flails + Full Command - To support Chaos Warrior unit
= 430 Points
OR
40 Chaos Marauders + Mark Of Tzeentch + Shields + Full Command - To support Chaos Warrior Unit
= 390 Points
Let me know what you guys think about which build of marauders is better for supporting the chaos warriors

Let me know if you think I need Chaos Warhounds

Special And Rare

With my special and rare choice is where I need your help guys.
I have a few options, but I need to think of some good special and rare units to work well with the lords/hero's and core units

I could go with a monster mash. Throgg and units of trolls. Ogres, dragon ogres, a dragon ogre shaggoth, a hellcannon, a giant, etc. Gorbeast chariots could go well with the ogres. As your general works more independently, throgg will guide your monstrous horde.
But then I would have to add Throgg and get rid of a hero.

I could go with some flank support units: Chimera, Skullcrushers, maybe some dragon ogres to protect the flanks. To allow a unit of chaos knights to reach the enemy without being hurt.

Please let me know what you think. I really need to formulate this army so I can gets paints asap.
Thanks everyone!!!!!!!

I cannot say that I am expert at all on the subject, but I have started playing WoC in the last few months, and I will be more than happy to give some advice. First off, make sure that you don't poost any point values for individual items, equipment, etc. Other than that, in the small handful of games I have played, here is the wisdom that I have accumulated. Daemon prince, Mark of Nurgle, Chaos Armor, flight, scaled skin, soul feeder, sword of striking, dragonbane gem is beastly. However, a 500 point sink as well. I prefer to play as many boots on the table as I can. My marauders have always died in droves and very rarely do anything, even when ambushing. I have opted for warriors only. I love the festus model, but he has no armor, and challenges will hurt him bad. I have started leaving him behind for a BSB which is a must. Skullcrushers have never been a bad idea. The only other thing I can say honestly is that I hated the idea of using warhounds when I started. But simply taking ten or fifteen in groups of 5 is a must. A 30point drop on the table to see where my opponent is putting his grave guard or swordmasters is well worth it during the setup.

I know this is jumbled and not very helpful, but I hate when I post an no one replies, and I am rushing out the door to get to work. Good luck!
