Have there been limited edition models for armies other than Space Marines in the past few years? I'm not referring to box sets that are no longer sold/models no longer in circulation or anything of that nature but rather models specifically stated as limited edition the moment they were available for sale? For example: Are there limited edition Tyranids, Dark Eldar, Necrons, Sister of Battle, Imperial Guard etc that have come out in recent history (Last 5 years)?

There was a limited edition eldar bonesinger a few years back, which you could only get if you bought a battleforce (I think) - it is/was some sort of tie-in with Dawn of War (1).

Forge World's Games Day model a few years ago was an ork runtbot, and befor ethat, an ork fighter pilot. Several of the GW Games Day models have been orks too.

I think these may all exceed your five-year limit though.

Most of the limited edition minis of recent have been some form of Space Marine. I cannot recall one of those factions.

SoB haven't had a new model in nearly a decade.

There was a Death Korps Quartermaster from last year, as well as a pretty spiffy mounted commisar, but I'm not sure when he was from. There was also a renegade Ogryn not too long ago.

It's pretty much identical to the regular lictor, just with slightly differently posed talons.

Awesome Limited Edition Tau Ethereal from the 2006 army box. The last thing I desire, yet has managed to elude me except for exorbitantly priced opportunities.

I know you mentioned last 5 years but truly limited Xenos aren't done that often, mostly just MEQ stuff.

Also watch Game Day specials (from the days there WERE Game Days ) and FW specials. More than 5 years ago, they released a Kroot shaper (GW) and a Kroot bird (FW).
