"So, do please come along when we're promoting something new and need photos for the facebook page or to send to our regional manager, do please engage in our gaming when we're pushing something specific hard and need to get the little kiddies drifting past to want to come in an see what all the fuss is about. But otherwise, stay the feth out, you smelly, antisocial bastards, because we're scared you are going to say something that goes against our mantra of absolute devotion to the corporate motherland and we actually perceive any of you who've been gaming more than a year to be a hostile entity as you've been exposed to the internet and 'dangerous ideas'. I'm in United States with and have a costco card, didn't see any GW stuff. If they did they would show it online.

No. As far as I know, no major retailer carries Games Workshop products. Wargames are very niche.

Lol . That would be a sight! This certainly seems like one of the most unlikely products to be in a Costco. Maybe your friend meant a novel or video game related to GW / warhammer.

Not anymore. Borders carried the LotR stuff, though, as have several of those puzzle/board game stores you see in malls.

They usually have a range of books/video games, so he may have seen them, but I doubt they'd sell anything else. It doesn't fit what either Costco or GW do.

It's still very niche, but when the Lord of the Rings movies were new, you'd see the starter sets and maybe a box or two of soldiers in a Borders or what have you. That and the old GW/Milton Bradley boardgames in the 90s like Space Hulk, Battle Masters, Space Crusade, etc. are as deep as close as I've ever really seen miniatures wargaming to being in mainstream stores. I don't think you'll ever see GW stuff in a Costco or Walmart.
