So darn gritty! Love it!
All three of those models fit very snug into the inqusi-munda universe, and are painted great. Cool terrain also, keep us updated =)

Thank you all, there will be more pics soon. I do have one query, does anyone here know how to make a cheap crackle effect in a large quantity.

Cor! Lovely stuff here – I'll be a keen subscriber.
If you're still on the lookout for craquelure across a large area, then another option is inks. Any will do; Winsor & Newton Artists' inks (available online or from most art shops) will work well and come in a range of colours.
This'll be more resilient than other options, and far more affordable. If you're using it for terrain, you'll need to get as smooth a surface as you can – a layer of PVA would work well as the base. Once done, pour on the ink liberally, then aim to dry it as quickly as possible – doing it outside in direct sunlight on a hot still day would be ideal.

Thank you all
Here are some more very WiP pics. Work on the terrain has ground to a halt while i wait for more resources, mainly a chance to get the GW battle fiield debris kit.
First a mechanicum Magos:
Next a sister of battle, who will be the personal bodyguard of an member of the ecclesiary
The dealer in scrap, gubbins and technology of almost orkoid awefulness Ignatius Frei.
And a servitor in a box

Scrazza: Thanks, and thanks for friending me
Talassar: Im not really sure, i guess i just like the fact that making humans into possesions captures 40ks feeling brilliantly. I can kind of imagine dealers selling lives with out a thought that these servants where once actual living people. Certainly the/us whites did it with african slaves . I can imagine crowds coming to see the latest servitors, each packed into its crate or brought out to show off, a bit like the roman slave markets as well. Originally the servitor was going to be used as part of the scrap dealers stall. It didn't work out so i guess ill just use it as part of my scenery, or maybe an objective.
Anyway here is what I have been painting up. This will be the mobile stall for Ignatius Frei, the scrap dealer:
From this image his stock can be identified as a type writer(grimdark style), a military issue bottle, some grenades and some other odd teknological gubbins.
"You there sir, dont you think your wife would love this state of the art dishwashing servo skull, fresh from the crypts, Two for one perhaps, no,well alright then, another time perhaps "
If you click on the images you can zoom in, on the dakka gallery. Its worth it, honest.

fantastic stuff! I had missed the last update with the scrap dealer and his stall -- so cool!
The magos is great. I love how much more personality he has than your average tubes, goggles, and hood style magos. Will you build out his skull or over it in a hood? Either would look great but he works surprisingly well with the missing cranium -- maybe many of his brain functions are stored in his companion servo skull or something ...
The biker is great but I especially love the troubadour.

Scrazza: Thanks, im rather excited to see how he comes out to
Weirdingway: I will probably sculpt some wires, then a hood over them. His cranium was originally larger but i shaved it away because his hood looked so large when i tested it. Your idea of having a removed brain does sound really cool, I may have to steal it from you it would be awesome if a servo skull floated in front of an mechanicum adept, with wires running back into his empty head
hopefully more soon

Stunning work all round the Magos really has a regal feel and the styling reflects it well, also the Troubadour is taking shape nicely love the mix of the empire armour plated legs with what I think is Tallarn Forge world head and torso.
Like the biker but a little hard to tell what's going on with the GS as some pics are a little blurry, what torso is it by the way ?

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.
