Hey guys I've been a long time lurker on this forum and figured it was time for me to participate.

This will be a P&M Blog as I get back into the hobby after a several year break, it will also include any Necromunda stuff I'm working on as long as stray other stuff for fun.

First up is my Guild Sanctioned Mercenary Ogryn, made from Bragg the Gutsmans model

WIP Pics
Spoiler:

The last pic is my plan for some base art, this entire piece is made from left over/used/random bits. Everything being added to this model would have sat in the bits box for many more months/years. It fun and challenging as I create a model completely for fun and out of 'recycled' pieces

So what do you guys think so far? C&C always welcome

The ogryn is looking awesome , have you thought about adding a scroll/ crude watchmans badge as proof of his Guild given right to burn Debtors and criminals?
I like the horse headed sump monster as well.
Looking forward to seeing more

Your flattery worked btw

@Grag - Thank you very much! It means a lot coming from someone who does as great work as you do. I plan to add badge or scroll of some sort to a stake from the barrel on his back that would display his status as Guild-Approved.

@Whitehorn - Thanks again! I hope to keep it inspiring enough that you continue to read it!

@Nevie - Thank you! For that sump beast I used a body from the crypt horror box set, the right arm was a two pice build between a bar arm from the chaos spawn box and the electric prod from the 40k Orks Runtherder staff. His left arm was then a crypt horror arm spliced with the chaos spawn crab-claw. Lastly the head came from the plastic Plague Herald kit

More to come stay tuned!

Hey guys, in light of starting to sculpt on my Orgryn I instead chose to increase the size of the Watchmen band. Adding two mounted riders that I could double as Acolytes for Inquisimunda (If I ever play it). They are made from the Bretonnian Yeoman with various bits.

The one with the boltgun already has that arm attached but the helmeted one still isn't glued. Should have the laspistol, spear or a close combat weapon. Also I like the shield with the boltpistol armed one but should the other have a shield as well or what? Need your guys' input.

I plan to keep all the extra bits seen in the second pic and also the base will change as will the horses!

I've made a lot of progress on the Ogryn and without realizing it a Watchman Warband has sprung up as my vision continues. I'm gathering photos right now but expect a pic heavy update before the day is out (Eastern Standard Time)

Some pics of yesterdays work will try and get another update out today.

Ive continued work on my Orgryn Bounty Hunter at this point really just adding details and such to flesh him out. Still needs heavy green stuff work though. I imagine that the skulls attached to scrolls represent finished bountys that he is in the process of claiming.

The other watchmen have sprung up very quickly from spare bits and broken minis and greenstuff

While the servitor and Guilder are built from the same servitor and empire general kit with just bots and left over parts for all other parts. coming back into the hobby I've really enjoyed focusing more on the detail and using in a sense recycled parts,

And here are some Underhive Beasties and my WIP Lost & Damned Army for your enjoyment, ore to come and as always C&C welcome

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Another update, Ogryn is coming along nicely; still need to do some more sculpting and final building before basing and priming. The sign on top of the barrel is representative of his guild given right to as Grag said burn debtors and outlaws, though I also decided that the Imperial Eagle above signals his favor by the Imperial Law granting him an Imperial seal allowing him to not only be above the laws of the Hive and Guild but also the ruling House. Marking this Ogryn as only answerable to Imperial authority and none other.

And here is the almost finished Guilder, For some reason I cant explain I'm really drawn in and absolutly in love with him as a mini. I still have to add a nice fur collar and fur trimmed boots along with some kind of cloak and various seals and parchments.

And here is the WIP servitor I originally built to accompany the Guilder, though now as I see him in this pose there is something about the misaligned mechanical eye and small skull along with the thin barrel of the flamer. He seems somewhat sinister and evil and I'm not sure if he is a good fit for the Guilder gang or if he should be off on his own. Maybe he is a rogue servitor roaming the Underhive??

As always C&C welcome, Thanks for looking!

Whoa, lots of stuff .
The Ogryn bounty hunter just gets better and better, although the only thing I might note is that one of the heads (from the corpse cart I believe) seems to be glued at an odd angle. Maybe it needs to be angled to look more like its floating? I love his facial expression in some of the pictures, I imagine he is truly chuffed about his License To Burn

The Guilder is looking really great as well although once again one small thing, the pouch on his right shoulder seems to stick out a bit, maybe if you cut off some of its bulk it would merge with the model more.
Otherwise, Im looking forward to seeing more, some painted minis perhaps.

@Grag - Thanks agin for stopping by man! Always great to get some advice. Ive thought about getting rid of the heads he holds altogether and just giving him something else. As it doesnt make much sense for a burninating Ogryn to be collected anything but charred bines and ash. Any suggestions?

Also I slimmed down the pouches and they look much better. Hopefully get some pictures up tomorrow, work will not take place today as its my moms birthday and were off to celebrate.

Hey Everyone! I'm back with a PIC HEAVY update for you all. Sorry for the lack of activity, been a weird last week but today I woke up vomiting therefore allowing me to stay home from work and get some pictures for you all!.

@PDH - Thanks very much bro! Could ask if you have any suggestions for the servitor?

First up is the Ogryn, been working on some fluff for this guy along with some rules, nothing substantial yet but once hes finished I hope to have it all ironed out. Here is with the Guilder for scale, both are still WIP

Spoiler:

Next up we have the first pack slave for my guilder, this guy carries about all of the guilder's personal gear and is therefore laden with checkbooks, receipts, notes, scrolls, bounties and bedrolls among others.

Spoiler:

Now first up we have as Grage's personal request a painted mini, this was about my skill/effort level when I dropped off the hobby a few years back. Built mainly for fun and to use as a small army/Mordheim warband this ghoul is one of my favorite models. The sheer simplicity of him, no clothes, no savage bone piercings he appears truly devolved having completely reverted to primal animal instincts.

Spoiler:

Sorry for the bad pics bro I'll try and get some better.

And finally last but not least, I promised PDH over PM that he may be able to take a peek at my Realm of Chaos inspired minis, inspired of course by PDH's lovely pestigors. Despite being a proud and true follower of the Raven god, the mighty power of PDH's conveting skills has seen my resolve brought low and forced me to build nurgle minis, a deed I've never done till now.

Spoiler:

Sneak peak only! They are HEAVY WIP and I don't plan to be done with them anytime soon.

Thanks again for looking, feel free to comment and as always C&C welcome!

Great update man, I may have to appropriate your packslave idea The painted pictures seem a bit blurry compared to your others, did you take those photo in a different way?
Apart from that I think the pestigors look great, I especially like the chainblade/ pointing one. I found it hard myself not to give into the blessed rot after seeing PDH's work

@Grag - Thanks a lot man, you're welcome to use the idea if you'd like, here is the break down. I did take the painted pic differently and will work on getting a good shot on some of my few (very few) painted minis. I'd be interested in seeing your take on the demons we all know and fear.
Legs - Zombie
Body - Crypt ghoul
Arms - Crypt ghoul
Head - Corpse cart guy
Gear - Mostly from the Empire flagellants/hand-gunners/Cadians.

Hey guys sorry for the lack of updates, my big bro moves out tomarrow and I've spent most of this week spending time with him before he goes. In light on that I've managed to add a little bit of detail to the packslave but still havent decided what to do with the flat part of his head. (Made like that to fit in the cloak body thing) Should I have a bald patch and GS some hair? Or just have it all be hair? Or maybe something weird like candles or a light? Or perhaps an inkwell and pen.

What do you guys think?

Other than that slow progress, I've also gotten around to start making my guilder a vehicle in the start of what will hopefully end up being a suitable caravan for him. Its made from an IG basilisk minus the bun and all that jazz, going to spruce it up and try to hid the origins of the kit as much as possible.

Also on an unrelated note I'm working on another mini and neeed mechanical legs, if anyone has some I'd love to get some! PM me!

Man those gribblies are great. Good head choices for these creatures and I really like the heavy equipment on them, nice lantern. The only suggestion I have is the herald's head. The angle looks a little off...like its not looking down the length of the hand.

As for the servitor no other suggestions I think the head is perfect.

The guilder looks like a mad eccliesiarchy fanatic.

@ PDH - Thanks very much man! I know what you mean by his head, and while it is at an odd angle the photo puts it way off than IRL.

The actual pose is for his head to be raised as he is letting loose a roar, which is carried from the pipe in his neck to the Vox caster on his back as his vocal cords have since rotted away.

I do agree to an extent with the Guilder though as I look at him more he looks more like someone representing the Imperium than a flamboyant trader. I may make him an Adept for the Administratum, not quite sure yet.

I will hopefully have an update soon though not much progress has been made, I have thrown some paint onto an old sentinal though. First time painting in years

Hey all!

Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been very busy and havent got much of a chance to model much less snap some photos. Here's hat I have though, some underhive beasties

Some cherubs, I don't like the GW lore behind cherubs having them as vat grown servitors, it removes all strangeness and angelic qualities from it. Instead I've decided that if a newborn or toddler/young child was dying and there was no way to help them or prehaps they are newly dead. Then the family would have the option to hand over their child to be taken and made into the cherubs servitors to serve the Emperor as they could not in life at least now they can in death. One of the conditions of this required that all chrubs wear skull like death masks so that their identity remained a secret and their former family would not be distraught to see their child in such a way.

Cherubs would be used as everything from messengers and scouts to to minor combatants and lookouts for Arbite Precincts. This would make them the enemy of under hive gangs though all but hte most brutal and savage would think long and hard before confronting a cherub in combat. The mere thought of fighting a child perhaps of someone you know would be enough to disturb most fighters to fleeing. There is a certain reverence and holiness about the cherubs as they are seen as the Emperor's eyes and ears and children. To go against a cherub was to defy the Emperor as taught by Imperial authorities.

Feral servo skulls who having resorted to an insane state due to a imbalance between their organic and cybernetic parts, often caused from a cybernetic malfunction resulting in the organic human taking over. Though like all servo skulls the "human" left in the skulls was primative and savage, it demanded a body and so they have taken the bodies of underhive gutter worms. similar to the shells of ancient Terran crabs the servo skull inhabits the body until it becomes to worn and rotted and moves on to a new one. The beasts are possessed of a low animal cunning with sparks of cybernetic information, often this sparks are painful to the servoskull as old corrupted and warped programming takes over and they do odd versions of past chores and duties. For example a servo skll once programmed as a scribe may instead type long lines of binary thoughts and words from its memory banks. Their former master's name could be repeated over and over or valuable info could be half missing on the script.

Dangerous blindsnake?

Also I'm convincing some friends to start up a relam of chaos campaign so you know what that means!

Well, that is certainly is a creepy way of seeing cherubs, although I rather like the idea. I can see the imperium believing that if an infant dies young it hasn't payed of it's debt of service through manual labour or conscription, and thusly the distraught family is forced to hand their child over, so it can carry out penitence as an unthinking automata for having the audacity to die before it could serve.
Although of course this would have to be for richer families as the children of lower classes probably die in droves, down in the underhiveā€¦. Its a morbid world, aint it
I really like the look of the new servitor worms, as well as their fluff and I'm certainly envious of your collection of chaos grimoires.

But, I'm still waiting for that clear photo of something painted.
