Hello All,

I decided to venture over form the universe of 40K to the realm of Fantasy. After recently piecing together a few Ebay purchases I now have a enough Bretonnians to field some what of an Army. With that being said the following list is every model I've purchased so far outside 26 archers. I really wanted to get a trebuchet but the fact that they are not offered on GW's site and that they are selling for $100+ on ebay I'm going to have to make do with what I have for the time being or proxy.

As this if my FIRST ever list in fantasy all comments, criticism and questions are GREATLY appreciated. The biggest question I have are (1) should I decrease the cost of my heroes by getting rid of additions and get the archers into the foray? (2) were the items given to my Heroes any good. (3) this list comes out to 994, anyone know a decent swap/addition I can do for the 5 free points? (4) is only having 3 formation of troops at this lower point level dangerous?

Paladin (104) - BSB, Enchanted Shield, Sword of Might, Warhorse, Knight's Vow

Damsel (145) - Lore of Beasts, Luckstone, Warhorse, Dispel Scroll,

Strategy - Still learning the nuances of Fantasy but over all my plan when building this list would be for the two heroes to join the larger KotR formation which would simply find the Enemy and Kill it at all costs. The BSB would add extra killing power while the Damsel would provide a large buff to the formation as well as substantial defense against opponents targeting of this large formation. The Small group of Knights will ride alongside the large formation providing a protection for their flank as well as engaging any targets of opportunity (need). The Pegasus Knights will attempt to engage high value targets in the enemy's backfield such as high level casters and war machines

You could have 12 in one unit and then 2 units of 5 but then I wouldn't know where you could lose points for a musician for the other unit... maybe drop the luckstone off the damsel, you don't want to be taking saves on her anyway, let the knights gallantly throw themselves in the way.

I dropped the luckstone on the Damsel and reworked the numbers as you suggested and for 997 points I could run:

I had the luckstone on the Damsel due to the fact that I felt that while she is a must have for her magic abilities she is rather squishy when it comes to the STAT line; but burying her in a formation of knights should overcome that weakness. I like the way this looks a lot better as it give me a lot more versatility as I can use the smaller formations of knights to guard the flanks of the larger one or have one dedicated to go harass engage targets based on terrain and enemy composition. Then again i'm new to Fantasy and might have no idea what I'm doing!
