If I have put this thread in the wrong place, I do apologize!
Anyways, sometime ago I discovered these;
http://www.thunderboltmountain.com/collections/all/noraland
and knew a great and terrible idea loomed on the horizon for me! But I just couldn't figure out what 40k army would be unfortunate enough to have those proxy it, so was wondering if any of you could toss out an idea or two.
I had considered Dark Eldar (or Eldar) but maybe I am not seeing a better solution infront of me.

If all you have are those three models, you don't have a ton of options.

oh there are more options, reaper has a ton of faeries too (and I can convert), but its along that crazy theme.

Tanks wise I'd just take from whatever race's codex I was using and convert them heavily (or maybe a totally different race, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it)

Well, if you are going with a general "fairy" theme, I'd say your best option should be Daemons, specifically Slaanesh, which will allow you to really go to town with the paint scheme.

Huh... That's actually a really good idea!
I'd have never thought of that lol
Additional idea, maybe they could be Tzeentch instead since they have magic and guns (Slaanesh don't shoot)
I did make a joke with my friend on how they should be Grey Knights and he was a bit pissed at that joke lol

Good show...
funny thing is my chick friends are more into things like dragons and satyrs (infact one refused to play warhammer on pretty much the point that she couldn't have an army of dragons).

For vehicles, I'd recommend using pony toys from the dollar store with guns glued on. For bikes or sentinal-sized vehicles, I recommend dollar store swan boats with an optional greek column cake-topper cut and glued inside.
Very fairy-princess, no?

Toys can often come off looking too tacky (unless its orks( but you've got a good headspace, and that's good.

The ponies could be towing trailers full of infantry or big guns. Then you could do IG. You need some other models for HW and so on. There are various fairies and magic princesses etc on the market that ought to do.

It actually has (and will have) nothing to do with MLP, started writing a story, and it's one of the craziest things I ever wrote, I'll post it later!

I've noticed dollar stores have a range of fairy princess figurines that could work as greater daemons

They also tend to have tons of tchotchke-shelf figurines near the old lady section. You should be able to find plenty of faeries, princesses and sad clowns. A simple repaint, and they're good. Automatically Appended Next Post: Man, you could make an army of weeping virgins.

Have a look at the Hasselfree site. Some of their pieces might work.

Personally I think it's an awful, childish, inappropriate idea.
I mean, 40K? Really?

Sadly, that is possible in Kings of War... (Sadly, because the small 'cavalry dragons', well....)
