Hey guys, I have posted a few lists and been lucky enough to get great feedback. I'm about to buy models for what I hope is a very competitive army. This is a list with plans to expand on it in the future. Let me know what you guys would change. I'm planning on running the bikers with the mek behind the battle wagons so they can still get the KFF.
Cheers

worth mentioning if youre looking towards big mek gunz
side note is that power klaws can get pretty expensive pretty quick. its worth weighing the options
warbikers fall off very hard the higher you go in points.
I am getting to a point even at 750 with 7 of them where they die very easily.

I'm just trying to get the KFF to cover more ground. Basically if I put him in a vehicle it's only that vehicle that gets the cover but if he is outside both wagons should get a save.
Cheers

Maybe give the mek a boss pole in case his warbikers want to flee

For the guy who leaves it all on the field (because he doesn't pick up after the game).
Keep on rolling |

Is it stupid to invest so many points in a model that I only need for the first two turns? I'm thinking about just switching him for a pain boy and putting him with a squad of boyz and hoping the battlewagon armor holds for a few shooting phases. That would free up quite a few points. I'm going to post a list below with those modifications. I would be curious on input. Thanks.

You need your leader to be hard core so they don't get slay the warlord etc.

Honestly I take a painboy and put him with as many regular boyz as possible for low point games.
Sit them on a home objective and camp it up.
If you just sit him in the center of the mob he has VERY little chance of dying if in cover etc etc.
Armour (possibly 4+ even) or cover (maybe 4+?) then feel no pain?
Good luck getting to the cream filling (painboy) in the center of that haha.

I get what you are saying, but that is a lot of points just to camp a unit. Especially cause camping really doesn't work out so much in this edition.
As far as the list goes. I wouldn't worry about the rollas anymore, unless they are already modeled on them. A ram is just fine for the wagon now. Your bikes shouldn't die before turn 2 unless they have indirect kind of weapons. They should be totally hidden by both wagons. Its going to be hard for most armies at 750 to deal with both AV 14 vehicles. I might think about keeping Kannons on your Mek guns unless you see a lot of AGL's. Of course is you do that I think you could fit one more in there.

Hey Balsak and others, thanks for the tips. I have a second attempt that I would like some input on. I'm very happy with it but there could be other small things to change around. Let me know!

Do you think you are going to see flyers in 750? The Traktor kannons are nice, but only being able to snap at other things is kind of bad.
The blitz bike is nice, but he is by himself now and if you are just using him to give the KFF to the wagons, you are spending 35 points that are wasted. Just a thought.
I am not a fan of rokkits on wagons. I think they could work though. I prefer BShootas to get more shots to help the boys out for assaulting. Planks can be useful on those wagons.

All very good points, I'm basically building this list to add onto. I want it to be a really good base army to build off of. I do think i will run into flyers pretty quick...
That being said, I eventually plan on having more wagons and I really like the KFF idea but the warbike is the only method I know of to keep it on both wagons now. Would you recommend he just foot slogs behind?
Thanks man.

No for sure don't foot slog. The bike is fine, I would just use the regular bike as its cheaper. He should be totally out of LOS so him dying isn't an issue. Its him hiding and not being able to shot the cool bike is the issue I have atm.
As far as the Traktor Kannons if you plan to add more then I get your point with adding them. What if you just had one to start with, with some extra wound grots and the ammo runts.
That way you haven't spent a lot on the traktor kannon to be a waste but give you the one shot in case you do see that flyer. Then add one or two more lobbas.

Ok I follow. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
I'm a little worried about anti tank with this list. The rockets will probably only glance and maybe get one pen. I will have to think on it more.

That is a problem for Orks all the time. You just have to not worry about it. The Rokkits might help enough. You have PK's if you really need to kill a Vehicle. Could switch the lobbas to kannons or Mega Kannons to help mitigate that issue. Kannons won't cost you any points, the Mega Kannons however will.
Good luck buddy.
