This is something that's been in the back of my mind for a while now and I was wondering if there were any examples of this rule actually being used or any rules that for the most part never saw much play in 6th.
As far as I know the only actual unit through 6th to be given the USR "Missile Lock" was the DA aircraft, but at the time it only allowed to re-roll scatter dice for blast missiles. The problem was immediately noticed that the missiles were all one-shot non-blast weapons, meaning the rule was useless and was FAQ'd to not have the rule at all. The problem continued when the rule was changed to give re-rolls to all one-shot weapons, but the FAQ removal of the rule carried over into the new edition.

I'm not that familiar with a lot of armies and I'm just wondering if this rule actually went an entire edition without any use. I don't mean in the sense that Soul Blaze didn't really have much use, but was never actually given out to any model. Were there any other rules that didn't really get any widespread use or were never actually given to any units?

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

I think you are right OP, I can't think of any model that was given this rule.
