I would like you guys to come up with a 1000pts list and a 1500pts list that would be able to at least stand a chance against most types of lists but I know that's hard to do but I don't have much skill in making lists that do well so your help is appreciated
The models I have are
20 cultists
5 chosen
1lord
1 HellBrute
1 sorcerer
30 CSM
3 rhinos
1 defiler
1 bloodthirster
5 terminators
Aegis defence line with quadgun
I can use the regular CSM as any cult marine untill I get the models because I can't afford/can't decide what to get and I play against most every army that there is in the book also as a sidenote to the army list if you know of any models that I should get to make the army stronger that would be very much appreciated

Well, which faction do you think is cooler? Especially with the god books coming out soon here, you really need to decide if you want to go Undivided, Nurgle, Tzeentch, Khorne, or Slaanesh.

My favorites in order are

Slaanesh
Nurlge,

the most competitive so I hear are
Nurgle
Slaanesh
Tzeentch
Khorne.

just because you choose one god to favor doesn't mean you cannot use others,
just that, khorne does not work with tzeentch. ever.

God books? And I don't really care but my favorite in order from greatest to least for fluff is

I'm good with undivided my army is painted like black legion I figured they would have the easiest fluff to connect to other fluff for explaining why they are allies or something

chosen in rhino's are actually very nice, you can put special weapons on ALL 5 of the chosen. just run your CSM as chosen.

If it were a lighter color I would have suggested green slime or oil or more dirt and grime, but black legion is very black. The only thing blacker is the Metalica black album.

What if you added a few green tentacle to them using green stuff? Drill 3 holes into them, then use paper clip to pin in and then build tentacle around the clip so you can remove from the marine later. Abbadon would frown on that lol. Theres a nurgle devoted warband mentioned in the black legion supplement, so it's totally fluffy to run a nurgle list with your BL painted guys.

Ok thanks haha I thought of that after posting the comment how do you get your units to work well with eachother I forget the exact word for it but its where the units benefit from eachother and how would I do this for CSM

dirge casters all day longgggggggggggggggggggg

I have never had that much luck with dirge casters the rhinos always get blown up before they are close enough

Yes! Do that to your csm! Paint some dust on them and chip away at their gold trim. Free hand the 3 arrow symbol on pauldrons .

What about drybrush some green on them like the green for plague bearers and then wash them in places with nurgles rot and how would you suggest I chip away at thee armour?

+1 to this. Another idea would be to green stuff some nurgly bits. A couple pustules, maybe some guts hanging out? Or even just add some wear and rust to your BL colors?

I'll proably gather five marines and try it out on them I will alter their colors to reflect nurgle so that means some green here and there and then I'll green stuff some pustules on some places and then finish with nurgles rot technical in the places where the nurgle parts are
