I have yet to loose a game and while I was learning how to play I had some close wins but now I am just slaying all before me.
Everyone plays infantry lists here, so I always attack at dawn. I am vastly outnumbered by my enemies even though they usually have a similar troop status to mine.
I place an objective as far from theirs as possible out in the open, place my whole army on that flank and rush it. 2 Platoons of infantry backed by 4
HMG upgraded to the max with banners etc supported by 5-7 light tanks and 2 light guns. The night keeps me alive and by turn 2-3 I am pushing off the resistance on my objective before reinforcements arrive. Sometimes they arrive but they merely delay my victory.
Ambushes arent effective enough to stop my advance as I place my men in a way that prevents ambushing from cover (as often as possible). Air support and spotting fails because of night rules and I simply pin and assault the defenders.
If they try put their whole force to cover the objective I am gonna rush I simply go for the other one and leave my tanks to halt them from trying to retreat to the other objective.
I have tried defending sometimes but then we roll the map thats even on both sides (both times) but I dont particularly want to defend if I can help it.
I entered a tournament to try find some foes worthy enough to face me
but I kinda fell like my army is very superior to that of my enemies. I hardly ever break, run or falter in any moral situation. Pinning me is hard as it is. I have a lot of firepower (concentrated though) so pinning is a breeze. Getting into combat has always been easy and I think I failed once but succeeded my second attempt after another round of fire.
Is it the army or are my opponents just not up to my level? Does anyone else have this problem? If so how do you even the odds?
This sounds very haughty but its not meant to sound that way.
