Hi guys,

welcome to my Realm! Take a seat and relax, drinks are coming soon. While you are waiting you might want to see my progress. If you have some nice ideas for my, just tell me

The first project was my idea of a modular ruined city with all these tiny details mixed with some black humor.

It all started with this tiny city Base

But then i decided to make it bigger and better. i took some kork, some GW craters and some bits from imperial sector and thats the result:

At the next step i thought it would be nice to bring some rain ( still water )to the battlefield.

But then i realised, it doesnt look that good, so i changed it again.

Then i wanted to bring some violence, trash piles and black humor to the battlefield. ( The lamp is by the way magnetised )

Here are my mighty big rats. There are 12 in this picture, can you find them all ?

After a while looking at my terrain, especially at the streets, i thought, nope it doesnt look that good. Destroy them all!
I removed the plaster ( streets ) and built a cobblestone street, i think it looks really cool, what do you think?

The next idea was created while i ask some people for ideas. Some genesdealers walking at the canalisation, but very WIP atm

Hello guys,

here is an update. I try to rebuilt this nice Defense Laser. I hope ull like it. ( and sorry for my bad english )

First some picture of the preparation and the location

Now its time, to begin with the 3 towers.

Next, the big Tower in the middle.

First i cut architecture cardboard in 6 parts. each 13 cm at top and 16 cm on the bottom.

then stick it together with brown tape.

Ill put the "walls" now on a ground and cut it off exactly at the lines.

Next step is the polystyrol ball, i cut him like this and mark it with a pen ath the front of the hexagonwalls:

Now, i put it together and try to stabilise it with sticks. here is the result:

Next step is, cutting a new hexagon, but bigger ( 2 cm ) in each direction, and make it like a boomerang.

And here is the final result, with the towers, for the first day. I hope you ll like it.

That looks great so far! If you "paint" the foam with a layer of watered down pva white glue (use Elmers), it will add strength to the material. Alternatively, plating it with plastic sheets and details will help with that as well.

@Ruglud: thanks man, i am glad to see that you like my project! Yes i really love Pizza, thats the reason why i have to go to the gym so often

@Littletower: Yes, i think it will be placed on a 24" x 36" field, with some walls and wire netting fence around it. Maybe with a shield generator at the top, who knows

@Veteran Sergeant: thx man, nice words!

@Warboss_Waazag: That idea is cool. Thanks alot for the info! Plastic card sheets you mean ? Never worked with it before, but i think ill give it a chance!

So guys, i'm proud ( ) to present another update:

I cut the windows like this. These pieces are for the cordon.

I also cut the eagles like this. Also for the cordon.

And i cut some architecture cardboard to connect the pieces.

All together looks like this.

i measure the distance at every side and cut some cardboard again

i glue it together.

Thats the result.

Next step is taking the pillar and glue it at the front of every side.

No its time to bring every part together.

Now we take the cutted cardboard and glue it at the top of the window pieces.

Next step, and cardboard again. I divide the cardboard in 4,5 cm x 6,3 cm pieces. and glue it with woodglue and some sticks together.

And again, some pieces from imperial sector.

Also in the middle of the hemisphere. the more the better.

Next step is cutting some pieces like this. again for the hemisphere.

Now we need some peaks. And again, gluing it together

Now its time to spend some time for the front. Take the pipes from the imperial sector and glue it at the front.

So thats all for today. I'm open for ideas and constructive criticism

I use translate.google.com to convert my wordy descriptions into other languages. It's an idea for having descriptions with each photo. The crenelations at the top of the tower look great; really impressive. And the panels along the lip of the hemispherical "balcony" are plastic card, no? Looks amazing so far and you make a lot of progress each day. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this!

@Warboss_Waaazag:

Yeah good idea, i hope this translation with google isnt that bad Thanks for the nice words!
Okay, ill try to update my pictures with explanations. The panels along the lip of the hemispherical balcony are common architektur cardboard. In german we call it Architekturpappe. Its like white polysterene between 2 white thin cardboards.

this picture might tell you more than 1000 words

Hey Guys, another small update.

I cut some architektur cardboard to make a base for a bridge

Then i take some bitz from imperial sector and aquila shrine to built a bridge

Next step is building a frame for the doors at the tower. At top its 8 cm wide, at bottom 11 cm. the lengh is 18,5 cm.

Now i cut some triangles for the sides of the frame

the finished result looks like this

Next step is cutting some rectangles. 11,5 cm x 1,5 cm...

...and placing it like this.

And the side.

I cut the rear of the door, to get a more even rear for glueing.

No its time to glue the door onto the frame.

Next step is to drill some holes for the sticks

here are also 2 holes for the sticks.

then you have a modulare connection.

Now you can easily put the bridge at the top of the sticks

The finished update looks like this

Once more, i hope you like my progress. If you have any questions or ideas, let me know

Hey Guys, another update. Enjoy it and if you need some drinks again, just order them

Some bitz from imperial Sector.

I gauge the distance from the base. Its the same distance like the distance from the bridge

Glueing the bitz and the tower together

Here is the base and the sides for the stairs

Here some bitz at the rear of the hemisphere

The base at the top of the hexagon tower

Im building a new Frame (Gate) for another side of the hexagon tower.

Side: ( Top: 1,5 cm, lengths: 18,5 cm, Bottom 2,5 cm )

Some stripes for the front ( 11 cm x 1,5 cm )

Next step is cutting a hole for the door.

Next step is making a "bridge"

Here a picture of the front

Like the design and such, but don't you use any glue? The tape and glue will become brittle in a few years.

I like the "inside" section. The board is looking good too. I would create some sections where the buildings go across two or more sections to break up limne of sight a little bit more.

@Jehan-reznor: I use some wooden glue sometimes, and the expensive glue from Pattex sometimes. But you are right. Up to now I have not thought yet about this problem. Thanks!

@SilverMK2: Welcome back ! Thanks for the commendation. I will build an crashed airplane (hell blade) or some crashed civil vehicle, too. But this will be of course modular. I also think about a train bridge over the cities of death, with some stone pillar, but this is far far away yet

Nice sprue-work, and good progress!

Please, don't underestimate Jehan-reznor's comment on the use of glue, the last thing anybody wants is to see such a built come apart due to dried up tape!
