Hey Dakka, I feel this is the appropriate place to ask.
In Warhammer 40K, are there any weapons that ignore or modify an opponents Feel No Pain other than weapons that cause Instant Death or remove you from play instantly?
It's just an interesting thought that occurred to me a few minutes ago and I couldn't think of any.

If I sound like I'm being a condescending butthole, I'm not. Read my reply as neutrally as possible, please and thank you.

I dying think there are. Back in 5th I believe anything ap1 or 2 of any kind of power weapon ignored FNP, but since 6th is only ID that removes it.

There's a special rule that grants a +1 bonus to FNP every time tzeentch deamons shoot at a unit. There's no cap on it too, so technicaly you could end up with a 1+ FNP.

Iron Hands can theoretically get a 1+FNP too, since a 1 isn't a fail on FNP (to my knowledge), silly really.

But I'm looking for negative modifiers or removal of FNP other than Instant Death and straight up Removed From Play/As a casualty effects.

Currently nope.

Technically enfeeble but that's a roundabout way to ID

By the Gods, is this true? For example if a Tzeentch Daemon with Warp Flame shot into that Blood Angles Character with a 2+ FNP and he gets a 1+, would he be totally IMMUNE to all under strength 8 fire? That be crazy!

As for things that ignore FNP other then ID i cannot think of any, but there are quite a few things that remove people from play which i think work around it. Dark Eldar have a few examples in the Shatter Shard and Implosion Missiles, but other then things that force you to take tests nothing else comes to mind.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Did they remove the rule from the BRB that says a 1 always fails?
