Hey guys im back and now with more Salamanders stuff!!!! im doing a mix of both Pre-Heresy and Post-Heresy Salamanders work in here and bunch-o'-converting! So tell me what you want to see painted up next or converted for the glory of the Regent of Nocturne!!

Great looking salamanders dude! I like the painting on them, nice and crisp. Contempors looks like a really dynamic pose as well, can't wait to see some paint on it!

who said i dont already have him?!?!? hes going to be one that I post once hes done but He is going to take a while, i have had him for about 2 weeks and am still finding stuff on his sculpt...really a fantastic model best by far from FW

so i FINALLY finished my second Contemptor dred. I went for a mortis pattern for this guy for some good ole' AA but if there are horde infantry nearby he wont discriminate really love how the pose worked out. Originally i was going to have him shooting at the sky but then someone at my FLGS sugessted he was turning to engage a new threat and i have to say it worked perfectly with him stepping up to a higher piece of lava rock to gain a more advantageous field of fire.

time for yet another update got my WiP Techmarine in Termie armor (Iron Hands Iron Father Model) as well as a count as Adeptus Custodes Acolyte with Relic blade. as well as a Mechanicus Magos

Sorry ive been gone for so long now that college is back in session ive been quite busy with that and work plus working on my Salamanders for this blog so everything is going to take a bit longer than usual...so a few days ago i got my hands on a SW Stormfangtalonthingy and decided to convert it to my liking hope you like it!

so im really excited how this model turned out im using it as a count as Caestus Assault Ram

Holy cow has it been a while....Im Back Baby!!!! and got some new models to show off painted in pre-heresy green/gold paint scheme

alright a small update with new things done on some existing work and new works ready to be worked on because work am I right?

SO basically i wanted to start doing smoke stacks for my Contemptors and i finally found a great bit its taken from the Island of Blood Fantasy Stareter set and is the flame goblet atop the Skaven Warlords banner turned out pretty well I think

also MOAR FIREDRAKES!!!! this makes 15 now and i think that will be enough (maybe 1 more to make it an even 20) but that will be later on

also I went bit shopping on ebay to make some single models and i got all the components i need for my Techmarine in today ill give you a rundown of the bits that will be used on him
+Iron Hands Immortal body
+Valthex whip arms and whips (duh)
+Mk II Iron Hands Immortal shoulder pad with cog lining (does not have IH iconography just shifting metal plates)

now while i love bit shopping when looking to make a good lookin cool a** model it can get a bit....expensive this Techmarine set me back 19$ ouch!, and i was looking to piece togeather a badA champion...but it would cost around 30$ for a single model mind you.....oh this hobby of mine

The Techmarine is almost DONE!!!!! Huzzah

man i have to tell you what everyone says about the Valthex whips is true...they are a pain and i hope i dont have the desire to have to use them again.

but all in all i think he turned out pretty good just missing a backpack and what id like to use is the Immortal Squad Sgts back pack but i cant find one anywhere so if any of you know where to get one that would be awesome!!( Pic of it below)

ok so now im working on designs for my Legion Centurion Champion and hes what i have come up with he will have the arching back arm and blade from the SM Vanguard kit+FW legion Champion body cut9youll see what i mean in pics)+ FW MkII SGT helmet+Salamander chest upgrade that will replace current body+the pointing arm from the SM Tactical squad

he will have his head in same direction as the FW model with the sword arched above his head pointing same direction as his head is looking

alrighty so a quick update with the first of the Firedrakes done and ready to be primed as well as yet another Apothecary to pass out the aloe when my pyromaniacs get playin with fire, and some count as Scouts or in Pre-heresy lingo"Legiones Reconnaissance Squads"....in Recon armor...so yeah Scouts!

The Firedrakes were a difficulty as you have to place the heads inside the body before you place the anterior and posterior portions together AND the hands holding the TH have different angles at which they hold them...didn't figure that out at first so had to re-do a few of them but they turned out ok

The Apothecary was a fun model to make borrowed from one of my BA friends some of his bits using a Death Comany torso and legs and a Sanguinary priests pack and Sanguinary Guard head plus some Black Templar Bolt pistol and Chainsword (Cuz i like the chains connecting the arms to the weapons)

As for the Scouts it donned on me that the "somewhat" new Militarum Tempestus Scions looked awesome for Scouts with Sniper Rifles so eh...why not

ok so who doesn't like a little Narthecium running through their veins? if you dont too bad Apothecaries give it to yah anyway and do the Salamander have Apothecaries? yell duh who else would pass out all the Aloe?

so 4 down and they are looking friggin awesome so far but thats just my opinion ill leave it up to yall how friggin awesome they are

So the new Solar Auxilla are launching in a few days from FW and i was wondering thought of them also im torn between getting them and the Transport or getting the MkII Tactical squad bundle(30 MkII marines, 30 Phobos bolters, and Command upgrade set)

ALSO!!! decided to make changes to an old model that has yet to receive some love...pics coming later this week!!

so as you can tell the torso is quite different to suit my pyromanical tastes that is Salamander iconography but happed to the orginal torso....its in dozens of small chipped and chopped off bits..THATS RIGHT I DEFILED A HOLY RELIC OF FORGEWORLD ...."Heresy!!"*BLAM**BLAM*

im leaving the backpack off for ease of painting and decal application and even though you can see it on the back there are gas feeds into the power armor (awesome)

many thanks my good friend...doing all these new model conversions and builds is really getting me in the mood to do every model in the Legiones Astartes book...alas my bank account can only be so broke... :(.....come summer time however this blog will boom with pre-heresy glory

Loving the looks of these. Couple suggestions, though (not critiques in any way - )...

- Try taking a base Contemptor and a Salamanders Contemptor and mix-and-match the parts to create two unique looking dreads. Fits in with the Salamanders habit of hand-crafting their own equipment.

- Maybe add some pre-Vulkan XVIII Legion Saturnyne Ram, as seen on the unnamed Legionary and Ancient Tuseok below.

(You could perhaps combine both my suggestions to represent Cassian Dracos, Vulkan's predecessor as Lord Commander of the XVIIth.)

hows iT going everyone well im back...sort of heH...finals are coming Up in 2 weeks so nothiNg new has been Done but there is sometning coming...somEthing big....an i dont want to spoil the supRise quite yet but believe me you its glorious and will Honor what patience i have with model making. on the flip side i hAve been getting some Work done on some new models im heading to my flgs to Kit bash some units and throw Glue all over the place...with ork like accUracy. the conetmptors are nearing completion i kNow a while back i said they were a couple of weekS out but schooland things happened. However i hope they will be done before christmas break so as to show them off to you. they are comIng along great and i cannot wait for them to be done i do like playing with Painted models contrary to what you may hear from my community!
