Hello, I'm brand new to wargaming, and I'm building a Necron army. I love that they're robots, and I loved them even more when I realized they were arrogant, trash-talking robots with a sense of humor. Anyways, I bought the starter box, so I have:

20 necron warriors [260 points]

5 scarab swarms[75 points]

I want the 5 deathmarks[95 points]

And either ghost ark or doomsday ark.

I need help understanding what I should get to be able to (hopefully) destroy my SO's Army of Nurgle Demons. He has played for years and obviously way more experienced than I.

His army list:

Hearald of Nurgle [190]

Great Unclean One w/Psyker lvl 3 etc. [290]

Plaguebearers[165]

Nurglings

and more nurglings[90]

beasts of Nurgle[156]

Epidemius[110]

3 Soul Grinders[180 each]

Daemon Prince w. Psyker lvl 3 etc. upgrades[345]


I was thinking with the Deathmarks I could automatically mark ljke his Prince or something down to to Wounding on all 2+ rolls.
But any suggestons as to what the best way would be to fight his Demons with my Necrons and what else I should get?

You're right about deathmarks but it's the wrong forum, I have flagged it so it'll get moved n the 40kers will see it
