Doesn't make me think Siam hann. You just took the powerful units and are calling it Siam hann. You obviously know what units are good so no point commenting on its effectiveness

I'm jot sold on the Wraithguard though.

And I have actually never played eldar competitively since 5th.

Yeah it's a solid list but it's not really remotely Saim-Hann.

If you want a fluff Saim list you should swap out the war walkers for Vypers, take out the dire avengers and put in more bikes. Lastly swap out your two wraithknights and warp spiders for fire prisms and another crimson hunter. Any spare points throw in more bikes. They're a solid unit especially if you toss in warlocks on bikes to buff them.

This list is very powerful as is but as yellowfever stated it's not a Saim-Hann fluff list.

Austin, Texas.

I woudnt argue it being saim hann.

2 squads of big jet bikes. He could make them 4 3 man if he wanted to make it net listy.

Even Saim Hann has aspect warriors, and who says they arent riding to battle in a serpent? Makes sense to me as they can then keep up with the army.

Warp spiders are another fast aspect that can keep up with the jet bikes.

War walkers are described as scouts, they could be ahead of the main force doing recon, then joined in once the battle started.

Wraith knights are hard, but even Saim Hann uses them.

This list is good and fits the theme. Some people dont get that competitive units can be fluffy, and Saim han armies are not just jet bikes and skimmers.

I do drugs.
Mostly Plastic Crack, but I do dabble in Cardboard Cocaine.

Still not buying it. My Siam hann army could be painted like ulthwe but when you saw it you would know its Siam hann without me saying it. Of course every craftworld has a little of everything. But just read the fluff. This isn't Siam hann. This I picked I the powerful units. But ultimately it doesn't matter. The army should do ok. Good luck in your games.

who cares, this isnt the lore forum, if thats what he thinks is saim hann let him at it..

Only thing in this list that sucks is the shurican cannon war walkers.. whats the point?

If he doesn't care about the fluff then why pick a specific craftworld. Just say eldar.

Until saim hann get its own book with restrictions or something then then if it's painted saim hann colors, it's saim hann.
The only thing I would say is to swap the warwalkers for vypers. Not just for fluff reasons either, vypers are the better vehicle for dual shuriken cannons. Read this article on 40konline it will make you want to play vypers:

Either that or take the warwalkers down to a unit of two and give them bright lances

It would just be the typical net list painted red. But like someone earlier said. This isn't the forum to discuss this.

No other list changes? About to finish buying what I need.

What about dropping the Crimson Hunter and a few Spiders for 3 Vypers with dual-cannons? Really like the idea of the Vypers but they seem really fragile

I don't think that's wise. The vypers while, great against some armies (tyranids & demons) just die too easily against most. especially when they need to be within 24" range to do damage. Also the crimson hunter is just great, although if only taking one then you should consider making him an exarch. And neutering the spiders doesn't seem like a good idea either.

If you wanna go with vypers the armor 10 all round is not what keeps them floating. Theres the wargear, holo-fields I think it's called, that gives them +1 to their cover saves. Do some fancy maneuvering and make sure they are always in cover and you should have a decent save most of the time to keep them alive.

For my vypers I run them as anti-tank and so only put a bright lance on the turret mount. that mean I can hide it's nose around corners all the time to keep a cover save.
