Last week I contacted the Wounded Warrior Project about trying to obtain the use of the logo for making limited edition objective markers for Flames of War. All profits from the sale of these markers will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project and I would be donating my time as well to having these made. I hope to have an answer back from them in the coming days. Once (if) I have the approval I will then start contacting various companies for getting costs and production times. I plan to keep the price in the $10-$20 range if at all possible. Just curious if this is something you guys could get behind.

I heard back from them today and it looks like this is not happening. They no longer license their logo. Feel free to make a donation through their website though.

The Travis Manion foundation is another good one to donate to. I went to college with him.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House! |
