The Hunter-Killer on the Command Vanquisher is there because I had 10 points leftover and figured it would be more useful than 2 heavy stubbers.

So far I have everything but 4 Leman Russes, figured I would throw this list up again for input before I purchased the last bit. I toyed around with the idea of using the IA Armored Battlegroup but with some people being opposed to forgeworld I figure I will just stick with the AM/IG codex.

Any feedback on the list would be appreciated.

I love tank lines! Though for 2k points that's 7 tanks that potentially your opponent would be able to take down easy. And those two vet squads are in the open without a transport or even camo cloaks. They'll go down fast. I love and always want to find a opportunity to use my megatanks but for standard lists I'd suggest dropping it, unless you're really set on having it. With those points you could fill out with another Vendetta, more troops and transports and maybe some Wyverns to fill out the heavy slot. That is if you wanted to stick to the mech guard idea. For just a fun list to play a baneblade go for it. I watched mine really ruin my friends tactics by blasting holes in his army.

'I cannot destroy Heresy. I can fight it. I can murder millions, billions, but as long as two humans live there will always be Heresy. No, i cannot destroy heresy, for only a god, no, THE god, our lord and divine god emperor, is the only one who can wipe out heresy. Till his return, i must do what i can to thin the swarm.

Ya its 7 tanks but they are all AV 14/13 on the front and sides and will have a 3+ cover save behind the ADL/or in ruins (or 6+ in the open, minus the bane blade), unless my opponent has tons of deep strikers or list tailored its going to be really hard to eliminate the amount of high AV on the table, I think the list is pretty durable rather than a easy take down.

Any other C&C?

Yeah, drop podding melta guns counters the list nicely, as well as necron night scythes dropping out units with mass gauss and stormteks with assault 4 haywire staffs. Things like that, etc.

9000 pts 6000 pts 3500 ---> KEEP CALM AND XENOS
