Love the tutorials, on all fronts, but if you're painting GW miniatures, why not use GW paints?

honestly I don't like GW paints and have not for a long time. There are a lot of great paint sets that are made by companies who are only interested in making good quality paint.

I use a variety of paint companies for different uses.

Vallejo model air/miniataire for most airbrush work (though I mix my own for some colors)

P3 paints when I want good coverage without a lot of layers (these paints excel at that!)

Vallejo/GW for most brushwork. I have been wanting to look into reaper master series, but the boss (my wife) thinks I have enough paint as it is.

Bigger question is: if you love to paint mini's, why stick to only one brand?
