Apparently Shapeways are introducing a new pricing model for some of their materials

Unfortunately it seems that the cost of some of the stuff on the site will increase considerably especially the physically large but low density models

Brigade models (who some of you may know from their 6/15mm stuff) have posted that a lot of their costs will be going up 4 fold

RIP I got some cute stuff from shapeways but it's way to much for what I got.

This won't last too long. With 3-d printers slowly becoming more affordable, better quality and more common, Shapeways will have more competition before too long.
