Hey all. I have a tournament coming up at my FLGS so I was looking for feedback on the list I was thinking about bringing. Let me know what you all think.

Lord:

Sorcerer Lord: LVL 4, Dispel Scroll, Talisman of Endurance, Chaos Familiar, Lore of Shadow

Heroes:

Festus

Exalted Hero: MoT, Talisman of Preservation, Halberd, Disc of Tzeentch, Soul Feeder, Third Eye of Tzeentch, BSB

Exalted Hero: MoN, Halberd, Shield, Poisonous Slime, Barded Chaos Steed

Core:

Chaos Chariot: MoN

Warriors - 23: MoN, Shields, Full Command, Halberds

Warhounds - 5

Special:

Chaos Knights - 9: Enscorcelled Weapons, Full Command

Gorebeast Chariot: MoN

Hellstriders of Slaanesh - 5: Hellscourges

Rare:

Hellcannon

Basic strategy is to deploy the Chariots on one flank while the Hellstriders and Hounds go on the other. Knights will go where they are needed with the MoN Exalted. Festus and Sorcerer Lord go with the Warrior unit working to maul whatever is in their way. BSB will zoom around to wherever he is needed. Meanwhile the Hellcannon will just blast apart infantry blocks.

While I am fond of Lore of Shadow I was thinking about running the Lore of Metal since the Lord will have access to 5 spells giving me some great magic abilities. Suggestions are appreciated but I am slightly limited on models. I have 1 extra chaos chariot, 6 more Knights, about 10 hounds, loads of warriors, 2 more sorcerers, 1 more disc mounted exalted/lord, and 6 skullcrushers.

Personally, I find that 9 Knights is too much of a point sink. 5 Would be more mobile and if you remove the Champion you'll still get look out sir.

Hellcannons do work best in pairs, but one is just as good. It also goes very well with Lore of Tzeentch, although Death has Doom and Darkness which will wreck face seeing as even a unit with LD 10 will need to roll 6 or less on two dice. Lore of Metal is very good, either boosting your warriors to ridiculous levels or turning people into gold. He is on foot however, so I'm assuming he is going with Festus and the warriors? It might be better to mount him on something, so he can get where he needs to go.

I like to have a champion in my units for unfavorable challenges, doesn't happen often but its a lifesaver in some cases. I understand dropping the extra 4 knights. Taking them out frees up enough points to bring in another MoN gorebeast as well as putting the sorcerer on a daemonic mount. Would it be worth it to try and get the Eternal Flame banner on the nurgle warriors?

It comes in handy against regeneration. And trollsare a popular choice at the moment. Generally, only a few units enjoy being hit with flaming attacks.
