Nothing better than going all-out with others who are doing the same (so no hard feelings). Been throwing around this 1850 tourney list for a while and wanted some feedback as I just purchased my first crons. Many thanks in advance!

Point total: 1842/1850

HQ:
(1)Nemesor Zahndrekh- 185pts

Troops:
(9)Necron Warriors, Night Scythe- 204
(5)Necron Warriors, Night Scythe- 165
(5)Necron Warriors, Night Scythe- 165
(5)Necron Warriors, Night Scythe- 165
(5)Necron Warriors, Night Scythe- 165

LoW:
Transcendent C'tan, Transliminal Slide, 2x Wave of Withering- 780pts

The plan: Everything should be fairly obvious, HQ goes with the 8 crons and everything goes charging towards objectives or what I need killed. Use HQ's adaptive tactics on the Trans C'tan. Your thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

Resin Printer (minaitures) is a 4K printer with one of the largest build volumes available for a resin printer (192mm x 120mm x 245mm) with an amazing .01mm resolution! This professional printer is one of the best resin printers on the market!

FDM Printer (terrain) also has one of the largest build volumes available for an FDM printer (400mm x 400mm x 450mm) and has an amazing ,05mm build accuracy.

Hmm...looks like it wouldn't be fun to play with or against, very bland unit choices and spam, Transcendant C'tan which is just about universally recognized as silly and cheesy.

Like you said it's very obvious how it plays and there is no room for interesting tactics whatsoever. People who can deal with the C'tan and flyers will probably beat you. People who can't won't. Might as well enjoy a few more months until the scythes get their points increase/debuffs I guess. Sorry to be so negative but I'm not sure what there is to comment on.

Run Crypteks of the Storm and lots of them. They are crazy awesome in games vs Super Heavies.

Culexus is good against Eldar + Revenant Titan. That army can beat you unless you prepare and play tight.

I think you want Zandrekh starting on the board and not in reserves. You can't use his de-buff ability unless he is on the ground (not in a transport). You can't use his buff or his debuff ability if he is in reserves. And you can't get him from reserves reliably unless you run an ADL with Comm. You probably want him in a ghost ark along with a Cryptek of Destruction.

Annihilation Barges are awesome. Run at least two.

Also you should take a long look at Overlords in Catacomb Command Barges and probably play with them before you go super cheese with the Transcendent C'Tan.

I think your C'tan could easily get alpha strikes down by anyone with a centurion star, scout grav bikers, or someone with 4 wraith knights getting lucky. You definitely want more on the board. You could dump Zahndrekh, go down to 2 planes, add a Bargelord, 3 a barges, and see what points are left over.

Also, transdimensional slide doesn't have any AP and you can't charge after, so I'd probably go for the large blast stomps instead. I'd give him the D big flamer and the 6d6 missiles instead of that power you picked, he's way more versatile that way.

I meant to give him the big flamer, used the wrong name. But I would rather give him two of the flamer than that and the missiles. As for the slide, it allows him to move 18" through cover, which is the main reason I would give it to him, and stomps effect unit-wide regardless of blast template size, so unless the enemy is bunching up a ton of units it wouldn't really help.

Except stomps can also hit things not in the combat, and large blast stomp let's you hit more things that are further away.

Why do you see an 18" move as especially important? Why do you think it's bad if the ctan has an option it can use to shoot at flyers?

I have enough flyers, would rather have two strD templates. 18" move isn't what I like, its the fact it can ignore terrain, better cover. I like better cover over large blast stomps, though they are very good.
