Hi, I have been playing Blood Angels for about 2 years in between other armies and its the one I keep coming back to, I mostly play for fun and minimal competitive play. Here's the list:

HQ
Captain w/ Thunder Hammer and Jump Pack (Warlord) - 155
Honour Guard w/ Jump Packs, Blood Champion, 2x Power Weapons, 1x Power Fist, 1x Hand Flamer - 250

Troops
10x Tactical Marines in Rhino w/ Missile Launcher + Meltagun - 225

10x Tactical Marines in Rhino w/ Missile Launcher + Plasma Gun - 230

Elites
5x Assault Terminators w/ 3x TH+SS and 2x LC - 215

Fast Attack
Stormtalon Gunship w/ Skyhammer Missiles - 125 (I know that it's not in the codex but like I said I don't play competitively)

Heavy Support
Stormraven Gunship w/ TL Lascannons + TL Multi-Melta - 200

Vindicator w/ Siege Shield - 155

I was thinking about adding a Furioso Dread with Blood talons, Magna Grapple and Heavy Flamer. I could extremely easily make the plasma tactical squad into bolter DC. Any other ideas?

Why not assault squads or any blood angel special units? Also are the terminator riding in the stormraven? And you could always get an amazing furioso dreadnought in the stormraven...

It's hard to give advice when they may/may not be a new BA codex around the corner.

As Kelen Ilandros said though, I'd try go get some BA specific units in there to differentiate it from a Vanilla list.

Bolter Death Company or Frag Cannon Dreads in Pods are good fun.
Corbulo is great in with Terminators to tank small arms.
Librarians/Librarian Dreads can generate a fair amout of warp charges to pump into Telepathy.
Talon Furiosos or Fist DC Dreads are good from a Stormraven
AV13 Vehicles can give breathing room for troop Rhinos/Razors/Pods

I don't understand.
Why is the Captain all by himself? What's the great plan with the Jump Pack...?

You can't have a stormtalon for BA.

Everything you are taking can aside from the jp HG can be taken for cheaper and better (due to CT) in he vanilla dex.

But I am specifically holding out for the new codex

But drop the Talon and some wargear from HG and you could add the Furioso. I think it would be worth it.

Furioso with Frag Cannon is beast. I like to have in arrive in a drop pod behind enemy infantry. Really shines in that one. But like it has been established, some more BA specific units would be nice, but currently our army is terribly underpowered for the cost.

I can't really see the point in taking lascannons and multi-meltas on a Stormraven. Take a different weapon on the turret so it can fulfil an Anti-troop and Anti-tank role.

One thing I think you and every BA army needs are Sanguinary Priests, these guys make basic assault troops pretty good on the charge and tacticals can tank objectives with the FnP.

I run Honour Guard and find them much better using either Melta or plasma guns, deep striking destroying a target and jumping after another one.
