Hey all, just a general question, I have started to collect a fluffy steel legion army but I have ran into a problem, I really want to add a Macharius super heavy to my collection but I haven't read or found any points in time where they were used by the steel legion. Does anyone know if the steel legion has, or did use them? The reason this is a problem is that I myself am huge fan of established lore. Any information would be incredibly useful to know

And last, but not least the Macharius is an alternative to most superheavies, a Baneblade-lite if you will, and is only produced by Forgeworlds where Baneblade production is not able to meet demand and thus the quicker to produce Macharius is favoured, and so with the sheer scale of the Armageddon Wars, it's likely that super-heavy production could include Machariuses to match high losses against the Orks.

Plus, armageddon is a forge/hive world. Sort of any guard vehicle would be fluffy.

Once you show up with steel legion minis and at least one infantry platoon fully mechanized (rather than just mechvets), I think you already qualify as fluffy steel legion. I wouldn't sweat this particular bit too much.

Ah ok, thanks for the info guys, its surprisingly difficult to find any lore about the steel legion, but its good to know I'm not going to get cut short on choices for super heavies and vehicles.
