HQ. -- dual CADs are used to unlock 4
HQ and 6
HS slots. However, looking at your list, your not really doing that:
1. You have a Warboss and a Painboy, you have 2 more
HQ slots you can utilise. What other
HQs do you have access to?
2. You have 3 squads of 9 Lootas, they're too vulnerable like this. Without a Mek or
HQ, the mob rule will either kill them and make them run, or make them run. Not fun. If you were to up this to a 15 man squad, that would be more durable. Do you have a
ADL by any chance? If you run as a squad of 12 and 15, it means you don't need the dual CADs.
Fun is different for Orks compared to other armies. Most armies can be effecitve, and then build to be fun. Orks are fun, and then built to be effective. The more effective it is, the more fun you'll have playing that said list. No offense, but your list doesn't look very effective. It could be alot more effective. As your playing orks, consider this:
-- You have one of the weakest armies to date, even after the new 7th ed codex.
-- We WERE given some nice shiney new toys, however you don't have many of them.
-- The mob rule makes our games un-fun. Keep that in mind when your building your list. When a trukk explodes, you'll loose 3 - 4 guys inside (if they only have the 6+ armor). Mob rule will trigger and you'll loose another another 3, otherwise you're running away. That's only fun for your opponent.
3. Drop the gretchin down to 10, you only need a min squad for them.
TBH there are better things that you could be doing with them. Most people till tell you to completely drop them but I like them. Gretchin are normally only used for 2 things:
-- Manning a Quad Gun.
-- Filling the troops slots when you don't want to bring boys. In the later case, then they'll be good for camping objectives. Dropping them to 10 will give you more points.
4. 3 deffkoptas aren't strong together anymore. If you loose one, you'll likely loose all 3 due to having no character to keep the mob rule running them away. Try fielding them as units of 1 (maybe 2?).
5. A squad of 30 boys feels contradictory to your theme of your list. With most other things mounted in Trukks (and a battlewagon), they'll be moving REALLY slowly. Do you have a weirdboy?
What else do you have access to? How many Nobs?
